Kitkat doesn't allow install of app onto ext sdcard. Some very old apps however can still be installed onto ext sdcard
Some phones some Lenovo, most newer Huawei has overwritten Google restriction n allow ext sdcard as default internal memory but a small core portion of the app still goes into internal memory
I am not having the Note4 with me now ( out for breakfast) but you can check settings /app n see whether the app you wish to move over has such option to force move to ext sdcard. I could do that on my previous Oppo Find 7. I needed to do that on Find7 as it restricts only 3gb out of its 32gb for app install
The Note4 has full 32gb access to install app. It is definitely enough for most users. Unless you install a lot of games whose data goes into internal memory than 32gb or even 64gb will be insufficient. There are ways to move games data to ext sdcard - just Google for solutions but I believe all such actions need root
I'm able to go into applications and manually move the apps one by one from there to sd card. Well it's not just about the apps, but mostly also i need the feature as i need the apps to write to ext sd card. like for whatsapp, backing up now is to internal storage, i hope i can back up to sd card as i receive a lot of pictures everyday. Last time need to set the default install location to sd card, then after that, when install whatsapp d, the backup will be at sd card, but now is at internal storage. also for others like turrent write location, which need it to go sd card...
I also read that, there is this knox counter, if we root, then the knox counter will activate and no longer the phone can be restored back to original to send for warranty...
