i have an athlon xp-m 2500+ (333mhz) @ 2.45ghz, barton core .. with an asus a7n8x-e ..1gb of OCZ Platinum EL memories
i'm not really a hardcore overclocker but at least i can overclock my fsb ..and change my clock multplier ..

i didn't up any cpu or ram voltage.

* XP-M is the mobile version of the Barton core (400mhz fsb) but it's just 333mhz fsb and the multiplier is not locked

My barton 2500+ can easily oc to 3200+ (2.2ghz). I think something wrong with your setting la.

mine is Barton 2500+ using NF7. 1 GB ram 333.

when i run at 3200, my temp is 60 C. is it normal. what is the max temp. My NF7 board is slightly more than 1 year (all this while, i oc to 3200) and the capacitor just burned. thnks to the repair by Hanief, Indiecomm

AthlonXP usually loads with around 55'C to 62'C when overclocked with stock cooler, therefore it's quite normal.

by default, athlonxp 2400+ should b
15 (multiplier) * 133 (fsb) = 2000Mhz

mostly multiplier is locked
so nw ur proc is
15 * 113 = 1700Mhz or wat??

removed short pin plug on mb solved ........
