i wonder how to direct newbies to hit http://forum.lowyat.net/TradeZoneResourceCentre in order to hit this section? is there a compulsory PM to sent over newbies inbox for forum R&R reference? Until now still alot of newbies voilate rules above.
Perhaps limit newbies to only open thread(or only trade topic) after 3 months from join date. Within these time, it is best/sufficient for them to scout around forum and the R&R, not just joined as profit hunter. Just my personal comment. pls share your thought

Hi.
Another tips that can be useful.

1. Always make sure the seller upload pictures of the item.
2. If hardwares (computers), screenshots that it's working.

If not, when the hardware arrived and you tested it and it failed to work/got error etc,
SELLER WILL ACCUSE YOU OF DAMAGING IT
Thus, no refund etc.
Make your life miserable.

1. Alt+PrintScreen.
2. Paste on a Bitmap Image.
3. Use Image Host to upload picture

Poslaju will not inform you.. Usually it's the receiver of the parcel who informs you. If you are very free, you can just track the tracking number here :

However, the tracking numbers are invalid sometimes so have to rely on the receiver

option 1 : hit "REPORT" button in yr own thread and leave a message requesting MOD to close it
option 2 : delete the content in yr 1st post and replace with "MODERATOR, PLEASE CLOSE TRHEAD". (put the same description in yr title and description..

if you are referring the the photo in lowyat post.
that is 'auto-set' function.

after u've uploaded a pic in yr post. it will be set to certain size (auto).
and when u click on that photo, it will be enlarged (this is also auto-function).
try it out and u'll understand.

if you are referring to usual way of resize a photo (not a post in lowyat), you may try Microsoft Office Picture Manager.
its very simple to use.
Open the photo with the said program and go to EDIT PICTURE --> RESIZE

got question in doing transaction for purchasing stuffs, if need bank transfer, how do we assure we are not being conned? where to check for the seller validity?

There's always risk involved for bank transferring. Trading with a senior member will always be safer than new member( however, do check the post count of the senior member whether they're really posting smth useful or just spamming around to get the post count). You can also PM members that dealt with him before to check his credibility.

P/S: Just curious what's the criteria that we need to fulfill in order to become an Elite member? xD

Can somebody explain how can i post more pics? It seems LYN only allow me to upload max. 8 or 9 pics in my thread. Why is it that others are able to upload about 100 pics or more? How to do it?

Combine all your pictures into 1 .jpeg file and upload it. if too many can make it into 2-3 pictures with your image combined together.

Independent photo's take up huge amount of space in the forum.

How do you mean by photo? You mean Avatar ? or your profile picture?

Go to My Controls on Right Top. Click Edit Avatar Settings. Click browse for picture and choose any picture you like within the range of 128 X 128

Then you view the Change Personal Photo and do the same as above.

Simple.

oh...i c... u must 'highlight' wat words u 1 2 do 'bold, change color/font' 1st...highlight then only click da 'bold,font etc..' must do 1 by 1...highlight words then click 'size'(choose wat size u 1)...after tat, highlight again(da words only) then click 'color'(choose wat color u 1)...

Tradezone. There are a number of subforums, but either the name would be self-explanatory or there would be a pinned notice that explains what that subforum is for.

You can sell your watches either at Street Mart, Stuff for Lads or Stuff for Ladies.

Do note that the maximum number of threads you can open per selling item is one in the whole of LYN, not one per forum. E.g.
Model A in Street Mart, Stuff for Lads and Stuff for Ladies = cannot
Model A in Street Mart, Model B in Stuff for Lads = OK

If you use the LYN uploader there are no limits, but it'll be best to use an external hosting site e.g. Photobucket as you can manage your photos better. If you use an external site, max photos per post is 10. If you want to post more photos in the same thread, click the Add Reply button (instead of using the Quick Reply box) then tick the box that says "Do not combine with previous post"

Hi, I was the same like you last week, when i was using ImageShack to upload and create code, it doesn't works, but when i changed to PhotoBucket it works now already. I upload the image at PhotoBucket, go to VIEW LIBRARY --> look at right hand corner LINKS TO SHARE THIS PHOTO --> copy the link from DIRECT column, then paste the link at your post THUMBNAIL URL column --> submit post...taaadaaa...the image loaded instantly...
