1. Read the Trade Zone Rules
There aren't many, but the ones we list are important so please do take note and understand your responsibilities here!

2. Read the safe trading guide
A few helpful pointers and tips we've compiled over the years to minimise fraud and promote honest and open transactions.

3. Trade Zone Jargon
Check here if you're unsure of [WTS], [WTB], COD and various other short forms used in Lowyat.NET's Trade Zone!

4. About the trade enforcers
What do Trade Enforcers do? What privileges do they have? Answered here.

5. Postage & Shipping Guide
If you're unsure how the postage system works, do check in here.

6. Successful Trades List
Cross-check the person you're trading with against this list (by performing a thread search). Once you complete your trade, open a post here and keep it updated as necessary.

This is great to read. Thanks admin,
i wonder how to direct newbies to hit http://forum.lowyat.net/TradeZoneResourceCentre in order to hit this section? is there a compulsory PM to sent over newbies inbox for forum R&R reference? Until now still alot of newbies voilate rules above.
Perhaps limit newbies to only open thread(or only trade topic) after 3 months from join date. Within these time, it is best/sufficient for them to scout around forum and the R&R, not just joined as profit hunter. Just my personal comment. pls share your thought

If you're buying a laptop here then I suggest you COD with the seller because a big amount of money is involved.

Hi.
Another tips that can be useful.

1. Always make sure the seller upload pictures of the item.
2. If hardwares (computers), screenshots that it's working.

If not, when the hardware arrived and you tested it and it failed to work/got error etc,
SELLER WILL ACCUSE YOU OF DAMAGING IT doh.gif
Thus, no refund etc.
Make your life miserable.

1. Alt+PrintScreen.
2. Paste on a Bitmap Image.
3. Use Image Host to upload picture
