Can't believe a month after launch and the online store was still out of stock: "Available to ship: 7-10 business days"
*
Supply cannot meet demand rclxub.gif (or probably just a way of marketing...as ppl keeps on talking about it)

under usage charges?! zzzz

my monthly bill is about 40-50, if i take ivalue 100, monthly charges 100, for sure underutilized 99 and charges me 10 bucks?!zzzz

i gonna clarify with maxis again on 31st...
*
I think he mean under "usage charges" column in the bill, not under utilise the plan.
If I didn't miss interpret his meaning...
Btw, if u subscribe ivalue 100, every month u pay 100+6% no matter u use RM10 or RM90...unless u over spent more than RM100.

everymonth they will charge u EXTRA RM10 under Usage Charges.

f*** maxis , have to call them EVERY MONTH to get it waived , else they take ur RM10 just like that.

by the way bro , 2YRS contract is too long imho and i deeply regretted for signing 2 yrs.
*
Can you screen shot the EXTRA RM10 of your bill?
I am curious about this...

never did took any chance, within same day I got my unit I got a tempered glass SP and case to cover it immediately. The phone was in the box the whole time I was shopping for a case and SP.

Tempered glass SP feels buttery smooth to my fingertips. It's just so ummmmph to slide my fingers over it laugh.gif
*
Good move...I got the glass SP...but no phone~~hahaha!! another 2 weeks to wait..LOL

Rubbish because they're still trying to force voice minutes and SMS down our throats. Give me a pure data (or heavy data/light voice/SMS) package with the same monthly commitments as their iValue plans and I'll gladly sign up. To get the same amount of data as my current SurfMore75, I'm supposed to give Maxis RM250/month (resulting in a nett increase of RM125/month or RM3000/2 years ) for just one of my lines? Thanks but no thanksĀ  rclxub.gif

Is true of what u say, that's is the only way they can earn from customer. They know calls/sms is getting lesser, data usage is getting higher, that's y the ivalue plan has less data, they force customer to sign the contract and earn more as not all customer will spend the whole ivalue package. They know people are still willing to get from them at this early stages or even later days, unless no one sign up for ivalue plan (which i dont think will happen so soon)

I'm obviously biased towards us heavy data users, but since our numbers are growing quickly (heavy data users), they're "technically" losing out because they aren't getting new contracts from this group (or a very low conversion rate). 10% of RM250 (assume 10% conversion for heavy data users signing up for the highest iValue contract of RM250) is RM25, VS a "reasonable" data contract, 50% of RM100 (assuming 30% conversion of heavy data users signing up for a good data package that doesn't exist right now) is RM50. Of course, these are all theoretical numbers which I'm pulling out of my bum (and may be way off)... but that's my opinion on things (feel free to disagree). I'm sure Maxis has some very good calculator punching people doing these things for them, which is why their plans remain like they are rather than how we'd like them to be.
*
Bro, no matter how we calculate, TELCO at the end is the winner of the day.
We'll see plan change when TELCO is losing money/customer (big numbers IMO), however in this country, don't expect too much of fair play/price, our consumer power is just too weak to deal with all these big guns company (supported by *ehem*, u know what I mean whistling.gif ).

Anyway, enjoy the iphone and the plans we think is good our own wink.gif right?
