This is what I received after registering my interest with maxis. WTF, Maxis makes it sound like Im begging them to sell me an iphone. As a customer buying an iphone from maxis with hard earned cash + monthly commitment fees to pay to them, you actually have to 'qualify' or prove to them you are 'ready' to buy the phone.
Maxis, I hope you guys are not dillusioned into thinking that you are the only company selling iphones in Malaysia.
Get off your high horse mister. They are not challenging your "capacity to pay" and your good credit history. This is standard for everyone.Maxis, I hope you guys are not dillusioned into thinking that you are the only company selling iphones in Malaysia.
All people who wish to order WILL go through the same page, regardless of your capacity to pay and if you have money. Of course they are going to check everyone's records, your lock-in period for previous phones owned, etc. If someone who has a negative credit standing pre-registers, of course they would still be checking with their accounts. Or maybe a foreigner wants to apply, but being a foreigner Maxis would want additional requirements.
Self-entitlement much?
