This is what I received after registering my interest with maxis. WTF, Maxis makes it sound like Im begging them to sell me an iphone. As a customer buying an iphone from maxis with hard earned cash + monthly commitment fees to pay to them, you actually have to 'qualify' or prove to them you are 'ready' to buy the phone. doh.gif

Maxis, I hope you guys are not dillusioned into thinking that you are the only company selling iphones in Malaysia. shakehead.gif

Get off your high horse mister. They are not challenging your "capacity to pay" and your good credit history. This is standard for everyone.

All people who wish to order WILL go through the same page, regardless of your capacity to pay and if you have money. Of course they are going to check everyone's records, your lock-in period for previous phones owned, etc. If someone who has a negative credit standing pre-registers, of course they would still be checking with their accounts. Or maybe a foreigner wants to apply, but being a foreigner Maxis would want additional requirements.

Self-entitlement much?

I wouldn't be suprised at a no reply either.  whistling.gif
As an MOC customer, I dont think I should be put through this. Not that any customer should be put through this anyway. I already have my iphone 6 and 6+. Not that I need Maxis to subsidize the price of the Iphone for me. Im just testing to see what Maxis like to put their customers through. If they are not challenging a customer's capacity or capabilities in buying the phone, then why make it so by putting in all these procedures.

I'm really hoping you are kidding, my friend.

What exactly is your deal? It's called PRE-CHECK. And what exactly did you put in there anyway, just your name, mobile number, IC and email address, right? So how were you subjected to unnecessary scrutiny then? It's like when you withdraw money from ATM, it asks for your PIN, and then it will check if you have enough balance to withdraw.

They have to actually check whether you are eligible for an upgrade, or if you're a new customer, then it will go through another channel for new applications.

Testing to see what Maxis like to put their customers through? They didn't even go through anything! Just a PRE-CHECK! Geez, you're so butthurt about an ROI? Really?

Like mentioned as a customer, I just dont like to be put into these kind of situations. I think we have our rights to be scrutinized or not and I dont think I should be subjected to this. This is called business. If I dont like the predicament Im going through, then I simply dont deal. Simple as that? Butthurt? Why are you so butthurt about my preference and view?

What situations are you talking about, they just asked for your name, email and mobile number LOL. You know what ROI and PRE-CHECK means right? Because I'm not quite sure what exactly you are subjected to, as you said. They didn't even ask you if you have money LOL.

And you're right, it's called business. You know, where they actually try to sell you goods in return of money, but if you don't have money then they are entitled to not sell you the phone. You know, eligibility.

Predicament? There is no predicament here, my friend. You're making the ROI an issue when in fact, there really is no issue at all. LOL go figure.

Oh I'm the least butthurt here, I'm perfectly fine. It's just that I have low tolerance for pointless arguments like this doh.gif Good luck sir, with your ROI and hopefully you won't be subjected to unnecessary scrutiny (your words, not mine lol).

Cheers!

Improving the buying experience?  doh.gif  I think their marketing team should be taken to task for making lifes of so many impatient Iphone 6/ 6+ buyers' life even more difficult. They should just go down with an ROI and select those who registered first based on the availability of the first batch of stocks.

Nevertheless, I will sit back and enjoy the "show". Wait till you see impatient buyers here "b****" about their inability to secure one unit and that will be real soon.

You do realize this is the case every freaking year, right? High demand, low supply? It's been like this every year all over the world. Of course telcos will award to those who are eligible during the ROI, not on who just registered. So if a homeless man did ROI, will he be able to pay?

I'll watch you sit back and take credit once people come here b!tching in because of the low supply, you will say "I told you so". Lol sit down! It happens every year. Omg please just stop now, you really are hopeless, quit b1tching. Sorry for butting in again! This is the last time bye! doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

Another day, another iPhone 6/iOS 8 problem...

Another day, another stupid problem.

Don't you guys think having 700 apps is a little too extreme? For sure, those 700 apps are running in the background causing the phone to crash. It's just really common sense.

Even my i7 laptop here with me slows down and crashes when I open too many applications.

I think I will choose Z3 after reading all the feedback. It's not so mainstream like iphone or Samsung. I feel amaze with its waterproof function and also its camera. Will write a review on it once I start using.

Wrong thread, maybe? We got a hipster here. LOL.

Wow, those emails are kind of phucked up. What a PR nightmare.
