Let's take iValue 1 for instance. RM100 per month. RM1200 per year.

Maxis subsidise the iPhone 5S 16gb when I bought it during launch last year at RM1799. (Retail price RM2399) That's RM600 I save from buying outright.

So take the RM1200 I pay for bill per year deduct RM600 savings from iPhone purchase. That's RM600 only for the phone bill per year. That's RM50 per month.

Now tell me, which plan offer 2gb data, 333 min talk time, 1000min maxis to maxis, 1000sms maxis to maxis at RM50 per month?

But my mistake, phone price is RM1899. Not 1799 like i said earlier. 1799 was iPhone 5.

So subsidise is RM500 not RM600

Maxis will always have 12 months for iPhone. If they discontinue 12 months then bye bye contract. I won't be tied down for 24 months like those DiGi fools...
