QUOTE(iwubpreve @ Oct 19 2016, 10:35 PM) main contractor tender department. but not easy and tough. tender period usually short and u need to work extra hour to finish b4 deadline. Hi, iwudpreve, appreciate your reply.what about working in the consulting firm?is the knowledge learnt from CQS firm can be applied to the contracting firm?I mean the knowledge in handling the pre tender and post tender stage.Thanks.

QUOTE(iwubpreve @ Oct 19 2016, 11:08 PM) yes. it's good too. consulting qs got tender and post contract qs too. consulting qs firm u dealing v main contractor and several subcontractor (nominated subcontractor) more proper for qs. what would you suggest the most effective way for me if were given the two options and career path like this to becoming a contractor/sub-contractor: 1.CQS->Main contractor site/2.Main contractor contract department->main contractor site?
