i'm still undecided to upgrade to the new ipad air 2 or just buy the ipad air.

air 2 price 1599 vs 1279. 20% difference in price but a mediocre improvement of 1.4X of ipad air

and current the new ios 8.1 do cause all older model (except that iphone5) to lag. if ios 9 implemented next year. the ipad air may unable to run that smooth anymore. due to insufficient RAM issue

get the air 2/64gb instead. 2gb ram

the price is quite steep. 64 gig will set me back for an extra rm200. however i might consider that in my option too

if this is your the first and last ipad. then consider 64gb.(16gb is enough if u play game, browsing, check mail, storing some office file) tongue.gif  or if u can wait icon_idea.gif  then be patient for the red friday sale on 2015.  brows.gif

support is there, but how about the user experience? iphone 5 on IOS8 is not that fast as it used to be in IOS7

Hey

Anyone update their iPad Air 2 to iOS 13 or iPad OS?

How’s the performance compared to iOS12?

I did. No issues. The same if not better. I love the new features and especially the multitasking and safari now works as a desktop browser. No more mobile sites mess.
