Got the ipad today, open the box, a small 0.1mm paint chip found on the top corner=.="...should I ask for replacement?? Sighz...

Thinking just to leave it as it...ask for replacement also need to wait some time for pick up and re delivery...
Not sure Apple willing to replace or not for such small chips.

Last time I received my iPad dented abit, they arrange a replacement though.

Nope, not engraved.
Anyway, I have called and Apple will do a replacement for me...
Oh well, another few more days to wait for the new one.

Scheduled pick up return today by Apple, however, waited whole day, no courier came to pick up.
Called Apple, they have no idea why courier doesn't come, had to reschedule me again for the return pick up.

So far, the experience is getting unpleasant...no replacement until the return iPad reach their warehouse in SG.
Sigh...I think probably next Monday can only get the replacement if the next scheduled pick up does happen...

My previous iPad also same thing...arrived dented out of the box on the right side also. sweat.gif

They said only can arrange the courier at least one day in advance, therefore tomorrow can't as is less than 24 hours for the courier to arrange.
Well, do hope the courier turn up on time.... sad.gif

Yup, not my first time.
Previously, they sent the replacement out the next day after I requested for an exchange and the courier came to pick up as scheduled. So in between the return progress, I am about 1 day without the iPad on hand.
Day 1 - Request replacement. Day 2 - Replacement unit sent out. Day 3 - Courier picked up return unit. Day 4 - Replacement unit delivered to me.

However this time, they insist that the iPad must be returned and received by them before a replacement unit can be delivered to me.

Hmm, happy for you smile.gif, at least don't have to go through the troubles I am going now.

Finally courier picked up on Wednesday, this evening Apple SG warehouse acknowledged the receipt of the return iPad.
New replacement iPad will be delivered by next Thursday according to their "Delivers date".

After receiving the replacement iPad, then I have to call AppleCare myself to transfer the AppleCare to the new iPad (which sucks IMO, Apple should have done it for me instead as I purchase together with iPad and it auto-enrolled for me).

I just hope now that the replacement iPad comes in good condition, I don't want to return it again, the waiting time is just too long thanks for the mis-picked up from DHL for the first arrangement.

Will keep updated when the replacement arrive next week
