Noticed that the gesture for pinch to home & switch apps kinda wonky. Anyone face similar?

well is depend on your daily usage.
If you are light user ( e-mail, document & web surfing ) then would be enough.
i would recommend go for 64Gb.

Never ever consider about 16gb... It's too little ..u sure regret sfter u got it

U will regret for buying low capacity iPad ... With retina display , u will load plenty of nice movie or drama etc...16hb left about 12gb .... 12gb is nth ....

16GB too little la. If money is the main issue then by all means get it. But if you're going to use it for a really long time then I recommend getting the 64GB version.

PS if buy online can get student discount

Full HD movie? That really eats up a lot of space, and I think some apps don't support a huge file. Mine mostly smaller files for series or anime, while about 2G for movies.
