if i were you i would pick the best or the latest one...just a few hundreds only why not pick the best?

Pick the Gold one on the Air 2 because have better resell value than the Air 1. in case you need emergency cash, you can let go quickly.

if the ram still stay at 1gb, will just get air 1, if 2 gb get air 2...

Not necessary to upgrade for already ipad air user, but if new user, that is a good deal for ipad mini 2 btw the thinness of the ipad air really impressed me, and my ipad air just 8 months now drop to rm12XX already zzz

if ipad air 2 still 1 gb ram,
i just grab air 1 as i use for book reading and some minor game only....
more economic...
not need those finger print sensor or what ever...

Anyone care to share whether to get Wifi version or Wifi/Cellular version of iPad Air?

Im thinking to get 128GB WiFi/Cellular iPad Air 2 but not sure if its worth it.

always get cellular iPads. Wi-Fi only iPads don't have GPS because GPS requires a cellular antenna, which only the cellular models get.

people say "i don't need touch id" before they use it. for me it saves a lot of time since i don't have to type in my 6-digit passcode everytime I unlock or my password eveytime i download something from the Store

But say if I got an iPhone 6 to serve me for navigations. What other reason to get cellular besides the GPS feature?

Surfing without having to search for hotspot or tether to your phone. When other people scrambling around to find good wifi signal or network congested with lots of people leeching to it, I just open my ipad and start surfing without needing to logon or register. I don't share the data between my phone and my iPad.

my ipad air mainly use at home, which unifi serve me perfectly...so GPS is not an concern for me...in the move, I still prefer ipad mini as the size & weight serve me well, so I go for cellular version...still undecided shall I upgrade ipad air 2 or ipad mini 2....

I just realize Singapore Apple Store already able to Order Online for the iPad Air 2, will ship within 2-4 working days.
