Investing in an EQ is a good thing, as i believe that in-car acoustics are never good to start with, better still with this left/right independant unit. But provided you know where to start tuning, where to boost, where to cut. I have a guide on trying it out, lemme know if you need it

Pioneer 8650/9650 only 13-band EQ i think, the P80RS is the one wif L/R 16-band I would say RTA is not exactly a MUST when it comes to EQing, since it's tuned to sound better for our ears, it's better to use the media that we are used to listening and tune from there instead. But in this kind of instance, something with the capability of an in-dash control would be preferable. Somehow... just my 2 cents, i kinda prefer more bands of graphics-EQ than a few bands of parametric EQ, but when cases like you used digital processors with more than 100 bands combined, really The EQ tuning i have is in website format.
