QUOTE(BASKO44 @ Apr 17 2018, 09:53 PM) What range of consumption will it be, $/ km? Also MMC parts availability shouldn't be problem to get & prices would overall similar to Wira? current drive, 2005 MMC waja, 10.80km/l average (recorded from aug 2015) 60%highway, 40% city drive , monthly average 2600km by the way, im a heavy footer all maintenance/parts have not big issue, only issue is those "ngek ngek, tok tok sound" from absorber & arm (although changed new, sound come back few months again) This post has been edited by godzbless: Apr 18 2018, 11:40 AM

QUOTE(godzbless @ Apr 18 2018, 11:39 AM) all maintenance/parts have not big issue, only issue is those "ngek ngek, tok tok sound" from absorber & arm (although changed new, sound come back few months again) Waja MMC all the way.. The sound usually from rear suspension as both rear multilink arms (dog bone) are shared with Wira. The car is stable than all other national /japanese car. However, stock MMC engine is not tuned for top speed.

Hi everybody, I seek your help. My Waja (manual) showing engine temperature gauge fluctuating from a bit under 90 degree to 120 degree and it drops back to under 90. This happens in a loop. If I turn on AC it reaches 120 very fast suddenly.
This happens frequently since 2 days ago. I already checked the coolant is enough and mechanic also changed sensor and still I have this problem. Mechanic also connected a device to the ECU to read engine temp and while on the gauge it shows high, the computer shows normal.
Now, my mechanic is suggesting the issue is the the meter and he is saying you need to change the whole gauge panel. But after reading so many threads, I can see people suggesting this is something to do with electric and I need to do after marker grounding.
Is it true? I am really confuse now. If anyone, has any suggestion please share it with me. Appreciate your help.

More or less similar issue is common on Waja meter going haywire due to inadequate grounding. Grounding from batttery negative terminal to top of radiator and firewall does help.Use 4 awg wire if possible, if not at least 8awg.

Thanks Why not use Bosch? Ranking in term of quality Ori ( made by AL - Msia) < Bosch (Msia)< Depo (Taiwan) < NHF (Msia). Seen ori and Bosch, quality abt the same except headlight adjustment scew in Bosch is using star key (torx) instead of Philips screwdriver. Bosch is only fraction more expensive than Depo.

I bought the top engine & cvt mouting for about 260 from Proton PartShoppe during the autoshow, installation at shop together with OCHs just just RM100. Done at SRM workshop Cyberjaya. https://goo.gl/maps/DsZhDo8F9pn

Thanks are you going to pair with normal halogen bulb or HID. I've been using depo paired with HID and get good cutoff line with lesser glaring compared to original AL headlmap.

Just changed the Waja MMC brake switch as the all brake lights sometimes function, sometimes not. However, Proton is no longer producing the original parts. The part shop recommended to use the original kelisa/ kenari brake switch isntead and it did fit. Yup it is exact fit
Original Proton Part No: PW530626 Original Kelisa/Kenari No.: 84340-87Z03
The original Proton one is not durable as I have been changing it every 3 -4 years. Hopefully this last longer. Note: Waja Campro and Waja MMC brake switch are different.

If you are in PJ, there are AME Auto , PH Auto. If you are in OKR, there is New Era at Oug. You can place order if they dont have ready stock.
