But Maybank take extra precaution, by default all transaction are blocked and you have to give CS a call to approve any transactions.
Still, remove it after "final" transaction will give you a piece of mind

If take from the branch you applied, it will be faster. You need to spend rm1000 on next Saturday and Sunday else you won't enjoy the rm50 welcome gift from MBB

Pay advance won't result to CL increased, this method I already ask the branch's bank officer. Call the card center is still the only way and fastest.

Nope, I even go to my nearest branch to confirm this. Just give card center a call, you may need to furnish some supporting documents(like pay increase) or using FD as deposit.
But if you are their long time "supporter", you may not even need to have the above 2.

Do you have M2U? If yes, it shall be appear in your account. If not mistaken, I have both of the cards appeared in my M2U system after 1 week I submit the application and receiving a welcome SMS from Maybank. I only take the cards after another week.
If you don't have the above 2, I'm quite sure the officer either never submit the form or forgot already.
Suggest to apply on another branch and llok for their senior officer. Looking for those "kucing kurap" officer may result to your current situation.

Depending what vouchers you want, Aeonbig is 25000TP for rm105 while Jusco only rm100 for the same points collected.

What categories you choose for that STUPID card? If you choose petrol and groceries, it can make money for you. Each month I'm buying 10-15 bags of 2KG Milo and sell it back to coffee shops at rm30-31

STUPID card only good on covering 3 categories, nothing more than that, so you still need another cash back card to cover everything.
Once you are using MBB's dual card, with the cash back and TP that can change to cash vouchers, you will find out that it is actually better than STUPID card.

Yup, STUPID shall be swipe rm990-1000, nothing more, nothing less.
Your utility bills also can use MBB to pay(except water and IWK)
And T&G no such thing as around, either rm100 or more(rm50 they won't accept card transactions)
BTW, I'm not prejudice against STUPID card, is I fed up the way they deny a cash back, like petrol cannot use counter and dining always having different MCC
Worst case for me was, even swipe in the pump also can't get cash back

Local also got, it just never ends. My highest record was a transaction took me 9 days to posted and I missed the cash back, the merchant even got the money on third day I pumped petrol
So now my transactions done before 20th. Anything done before this they are very fast to post it, but after 23rd, it will be slower.
Just try to swipe your STUPID card at Aeon/Jusco and see does your statement still stands. Aeon/Jusco's supermarket's MCC are under groceries(the right MCC for STUPID) but yet you still can't get cash back. Like Seremban's Jusco are not entitled.

I also seldom buy at Jusco, since their stuffs never been cheap.

No doubt environment are good, but they do accept AMEX, so AMEX still the best on this part(sadly, not all merchant accepting AMEX)

Not to mention the price when paying are different from racks. At the cashier stated they will honor the lowest price, but this never happen before. Giant, Tesco, Aeonbig will really honor what they says
And time consuming during such promo, always stock out and long long queue.
Like Top 2.5KG selling for rm9, when reach there at 10:30am, only the rack with price tag there, they only put half pallet
All of them when 1 item selling for cheap, others are not, so no point.
Groceries is done by me most of the time(since I'm holding the credit card), so I know the average price. I won't jumping like a monkey to a place when they are doing promotion, I only buy the things that I always use when it is cheap and fall under my average budget.
