instead of apply to reduce your cl, you should have used the bt way to "cash out" that money to invest elsewhere. brows.gif

Cash out no need to pay fees?
*
fee ~ IBG RM2.......plus 6.99% PA interest
U can cash out from HLB and then use Maybank BT 95% of the cash out amount, dun settle immediately the cash out (if you want to avoid early cancellation penalty fee RM70). However if you feel that the early cancellation penalty is lower than the total amount of interest (6.99% PA) for next six month repayment, u can proceed.

Yup is the fastest, that's before I know on AeonBig's rm105 gift card.
That's 7% liao sweat.gif
And the effective interest are higher, right?
*
6.99%, reducing balance calculation.

example.

you call HLB to cash out 20K, total charge appear into account 20,002.00

once you see this cash out account number appear into your online account, apply Maybank balance transfer 19500 (monthly repayment 1625 x 12 months). Balance 502 at HLB account, u repayment progressively in 6 months.

Roughly calculation
1st month statement, 502+(502 interest = RM3-4), repayment 50
2nd month.....

6th month, settle it......total fee and interest will be less than RM30

At the same time, repay Maybank 1625 punctually to avoid any interest charge.

U can read the BT thread how to cash out
