QUOTE(desreg2913 @ Oct 30 2014, 02:36 PM) Is it so difficult to understand? It does not matter shell caltex petronas bhp or whatsoever.. As long as the merchant accept amex, you got 5X TP and additional 5% if the transaction made on weekend. (*2X for Government Bodies, Education Institutions and Insurance Providers) Please refer to post NO 1. |

QUOTE(herc @ Oct 31 2014, 11:20 AM) Get a calculator, Total credit limit - Outstanding balance (of all your MBB cards), factor in if you have any EPP/Installment ongoing. yaya.. need to trace back how much BT and EPP i had spent.. is kind of headache.. cimb/pbb/ocbc all so simple to check balance limit except mbb.. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 7 2014, 11:59 AM) Called 03-20708833 and nobody picked up. which ext u called? I called all 4 ext, nobody picked up.. will try it later.Edit: RSVP for two seats. I believe got limited units, each card is entitled for one. Each card can entitle 1 iphone 6 with 300 rebate? If i got 3 mbb card, can i get 3 iphone 6? haha.. Updated: Just managed to call one of the ext. Apparently only 200 unit iphone will be provided on that event. you have to queue as earlier as possible to get it.. LOL... Each person only entitle for 1 iphone. Currently 180 person had RVSP to that event. Good luck all.. This post has been edited by cyang: Nov 7 2014, 01:26 PM |

QUOTE(Duckies @ Nov 13 2014, 11:00 PM) Hi guys, I am going to ask something stupid but I need to clarify it else it just bugs me XD yes. one thing I hate about MBB card is we cant see the balance credit limit easily.Let's say I used credit card to buy RM 1000 stuff...so my max credit limit left RM 4000. The bill have not come yet. So if I pay off RM 1000 now, will my max credit limit becomes RM 5000 back? Anyway, I found a way to check it. Just click on 'EZYCASH', it will show u 'Available Balance', as it is showing 90% of your ACTUAL AVAILABLE CREDIT LIMIT, you need to multiply 100/90. For eg, Available Balance showing 18k. Your ACTUAL AVAILABLE CREDIT LIMIT would be 18k*100/90 = 20k |

QUOTE(xixo_12 @ Nov 27 2014, 10:19 PM) I will say if u have more money to roll, just apply it, and dump the money into ASB (if u bumi) as long as you know how to manage your money, self discipline, and smart enough, it is good to leverage your credit limit to enhance your income.return for one year est 7~8%, u will get RM250 for 4000 investment, does it look nice? u just only need to pay around RM77 x 2 : RM154, still u earn 100 minus the interest.. lol just my opinion.. for me, I always withdraw excessive money from 0% BT to dump into stock market.. hehe.. And of course I'm gaining profit |

QUOTE(kinabalu @ Nov 27 2014, 10:30 PM) Public Bank 0% Balance Transfer for 6 months.. Doesn't require credit card statement.Transfer up to 80% of your credit limit to Maybank Credit Card (given you did not swipe your MBB credit card more than the balance transfer amount), then call maybank to transfer the overpay to saving account. 3 Must Have card for 0% Balance Transfer. 1. Public Bank (until 31 March 2015) - 6 months 0% 2. Maybank (until 8 March 2015) - 12 months 0% 3. Aeon (card feature) - 6 months 0% This post has been edited by cyang: Nov 27 2014, 10:39 PM |

QUOTE(kinabalu @ Nov 30 2014, 10:53 PM) Ya for CIMB, I was invited to get their cashback plat card when they introduce the card coz my salary goes there. Last time when I ask for upgrade, I just show them my 3 months salary slip, very fast approval. I got my plat card on the next day.but for maybank, I only get a gold MBB2 coz I did not have a card from them before , I guess I will ask for an upgrade next year. |

QUOTE(bluebay @ Dec 11 2014, 04:37 PM) Updates: Maybank called me, saying the card issued was a token of appreciation to me as a loyal customer. Maybank, what makes you think by giving a credit card to your customer is a way of appreciation? Credit card is not a free card!!! Customer need to pay for the annual fee, the GST, & the HUGE interest if credit repayment is not made on time! This is not a correct appreciation method!!! Are they out of their mind? QUOTE(maskedchan @ Dec 11 2014, 04:50 PM) there is no annual fees for this card..so it is free.. GST need to pay please blame government..nothing to do with bank.. since now got promotion, use 3 times each card then can get back the GST.. delay payment for one or two days can ask bank to waive it.. if still cannot make payment on time, it is solely repsonbility of the user..nothing to do with bank QUOTE(Prodigenous Zee @ Dec 11 2014, 07:07 PM) Whether the card has annual fees and who gets the GST payment is not the point. Imagine going to IKEA to buy a wardrobe. When they deliver it to your house, they bring along a packet of nasi goreng for you. They tell you "nah, since you are so nice to us, we bought you this nasi goreng. But you have to go pay the restaurant down the street for it." Your head goes Agree with Prodigenous! I really hate when Bank do it that way. I kena once from Public Bank too.Banks should not automatically register credit cards without customer's consent. What Maybank should've done is called bluebay and said "hey! We like you so much. We're offering you this credit card and we will waive GST for you for the first three years. How does that sound?" Next step: call Maybank and triple confirm this information. Told me the card came with car loan. It's free for you. Even I did not activated, they charged me annual fee and GST.. Really wtf to them.. Luckily they waived everything if not I will make big noise on this issue. |
