Sorry, wanna check with those who have experience upgrading from gold to platinum..

I have upgraded my m2c to platinum, however, there is afew floating transactions from my gold card... the CS at the card centre (gardens), actually cut my gold card already, and then checked and found out there are floating transactions for my gold card..

he told me that if I were to disable and cancel the gold card, there is no way I can pay my outstanding amount for the gold card, which then he pass me back the cut gold card, ask me to keep and clear the floating balance once it appears on my statement, only then i cancel it..

anyone know if the floating transaction will be carried over to my platinum card, as long as the TP? Or do i need to wait till all the floating transactions be listed in my gold card, cleared it, only i can cancel it?

Call CS to transfer the outstanding amount to your platinum

Just called for the iPhone 6 thingy again, apparently 250 units and they have 200+ RSVP now. They have stopped taking RSVP.

If epicentre has more stock on that day, then will have more than 250 units.

Only those with RSVP can purchase but again, what if every single person that called and asked for 2-3 spots? hmm.gif

I urgently need a sup card for my gf that will be travelling overseas for work purpose. She'll leaving this Friday. Would like to confirm some question before I go to any Maybankcard centre for it.

1. Is it possible to apply for my gf or only wife/family members able to?
2. If I not mistaken, GST for sup card is RM50 right? RM25 x 2 (Master and Amex)
3. Can I get it the same day if I apply at 1U/KLCC maybankcard centre?
4. Can I request only the sup card can be used in foreign country?

Thanks in advance.

Guys, I suck in math. Just a quick question.

For RM 6k+ of spending, is it better to use AmEx or OCBC Ti 1% rebate? Take note that I have exhausted my AmEx RM 50 cash back. So, for AmEx just solely for 5xTP.

How about if I reduce to RM 3k+? AmEx or OCBC Ti?

Thanks. biggrin.gif

Amex is 2% (5x points only) while OCBC is 1%.

So if you are swapping at place that accept Amex and allows you to earn 5x points (not education, government services, insurance) then always try to swipe with Amex.

Except maybe for foreign currency as Amex charges is higher. Then that will depend whether you prefer points or cash (1% CB direct from OCBC)

Hi guys,

I'm holding Maybank2cards. Now I have got some number of treat points earned via using the cards going to expired end of this year. I'm thinking of either converting the treat points to air miles OR redeem shopping vouchers. I would like to know which of the 2 options is more value for money.

Thanks.

Where do you check that ur expiry is end of the year? From what I know the expiry is 3 years and from last year onwards. Previously treat point has no expiry. So don't think yours is expiring end of the year in the first place

I must say the posting day for Maybank Amex is damn fast, I swipe an item at Puma, 1U on 9.45pm night (30th Nov) and was thinking most likely it will flow to Dec quota as it was late already.

Checked my M2U was pleasantly surprised that it is posted on the same day. It was good as I still have quota for Nov month for the 5% rebate. Perhaps it is using Maybank terminal.

Normally my petrol if I pump at night the posting date will be next day or after.

rebate is based on transaction date, not posting date. so doesn't matter even if it's posted a few days later

but if transaction done at the end month, late posting will take up your following month's rebate cap instead.
for eg, transaction on 30/11 posted on 1/12.

Well explained by Victorywp, you will never know what you gonna purchase the upcoming month so it's better to free up fully your quota for the upcoming month, especially it is Dec month where there is a lot of sale and event like Christmas etc.

Hence it means I can do more Christmas shopping in month of Dec to maximise my rebate
