if weekend, use AMEX to get 5% rebate + 5x TP..not worth to use MC since the conversion rate is high...
if small amount purchase, just use cash..

QUOTE(DrPitchard @ Nov 2 2014, 10:33 AM) Let's tackle the issue one step at a time. you do not determine how much CL increase you want..Have you tried a gradual increase instead? Maybe request for a few thousand first as opposed to jacking it up to 3x your MBB2 credit limit? For your info, I have also been using the MBB2 card since its launch, and have been using it for more than 3 years. I'm also pretty much like you, making full payment each and every month for the past 3 years. Credit limit is also a few times that of my salary. Expenditure is really heavy too as I use it for my business, in purchasing IT hardware. When I have projects, credit call statement exceeds RM20k per month. Only missed the RM50 monthly cash back 2-3 times since I got the card. Treatpoints just crossed the 900k mark. I am taking huge money from them and they don't seem to have a problem with that, continuously increasing my credit limit every 6 months when I write in. I suspect it could be because you have a high DSR (debt-service ratio)? Try to request in stages first as opposed to a lump sum as mentioned earlier on. Different banks have different methodology and mathematical formulas in accessing customers's financial health. Some bank use the gross income, some use nett income. Some acknowledge 100% of a rental income, some apply a 20% discount to it while some don't even recognize such income unless its a proper stamped agreement. Same goes for the DSR, it varies significantly for clients in different income bracket and their CCRIS history. bank determine how much they would give.. bank either give the amount they deem fit or simply just rejected entirely.. |

QUOTE(drummerboy @ Nov 11 2014, 11:06 AM) Hi all, new MBB2Cards user here. I was wondering how to waive the gov tax. I heard you can swap 3x within 60 days to waive it off. Is that true? For the moment, cant waive the gov tax..Is AMEX usable in SHELL Petrol Station? I saw there is a new AMEX card launching for Shell. swipe 3x each card to get RM50 cashback for each card.. so can cover the gov tax. yes..almost all SHELL accept AMEX..depend where you stay also.. in klang valley, SHELL + AMEX no problem.. |

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Nov 13 2014, 01:02 PM) I just received my card and there's a acknowledgement receipt that requires our signature and to be passed back immediately. Do we post them back or just pass it to the nearby branches? I received the letter from my colleague cause I was out of office, can't get the postman to send back. no need to send back..i never send back at all.. just activate the card and use |

QUOTE(sj0217 @ Nov 16 2014, 11:27 PM) I'm feel like Petron cannot last longer than Petronas how about shell? Therefore, I'm thinking whether the smile card come with good point (good rebate) due to this reason??? Petronas even saved than petron as for my individual nobody talk about shell..all talk about petron and PETRONAS only.. I thought shell more easier to use AMEX compare with the rest? |

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Nov 19 2014, 09:38 AM) Morning people, since you are new to this card, i suggest you to read all the information available on the 1st page..I have started using my Amex during weekend. Last Saturday evening I used it for my petrol but the cashback doesn't reflect when I login into my maybank2u account to check the transaction. When can I see it reflected yeah? incase you miss out the benefit of this card |

QUOTE(supersound @ Nov 19 2014, 01:35 PM) You need to call CS to give green light for Paypal transaction. mine never been blocked since day 1 i use mbb card..For your info, AMEX's fraud cases on online transaction are very high, that's why MBB's AMEX by default is blocked on this, for your safety. i wonder why they choose to block a group people and another group not block at all... |
