hi guys. anyone here got charged with late payment interest before? there are few times i paid my statement balance 1 day after due date and the day itself. Any idea to check how much they charged me? There's no line item stating interest charged or whatsoever.

Hi guys. Just want to ask something. My wife is using the mb2kard and she was late for a card payment last month (1 day late ) anyway, on her card statement now it is showing 17% retail interest rate instead of the normal 8.88%. She called the bank and they said its because she was late for payment once, and the 17% interest rate will persist for 1 year before going back to 8.88%. Has anyone experienced this before? How come the penalty is so harsh?

10k to 15k is like 50% increase.
If your monthly pay is 2.5x or 3x can reach 15k, there is a possibility.

My CL was increased by 50% but my salary also increased by 50%.
