Tried and failed, error message showed up after clicking confirm. Ok, what about depositing a cheque instead of cash to the card as card payment? Will that work?
Good point to note. Hence, M2U is not workable shakehead.gif

Will you have access to internet, i.e. when you are overseas (I am assuming you are preparing to go for long term travel)?

If yes, my suggestion is,

1. Request for temporary Credit Limit upgrade to as high as possible
2. From time to time, login to internet banking and start paying what you spent

I did that before when I had to travel for business for 2 months.

Paying advance to enjoy higher credit limit works. I did that monthly..

Like other forum-er mentioned, paying over CDM or counter works, pay by cheque works too.

Or u can do interbank giro transfer.

RHB IBG 10k + RHB fastIBG 10k (RM0.80/transaction) daily limit
CIMB Clicks 30k
HSBC 40k daily limit (need apply at branch for once)

RM950 x 8.88% p.a. (Assuming you are in Tier 1 interest; Maybank now has 3 Tiers).

So, next month's interest charge would be RM7.03.

Just realized that my 2 cards were charged RM100 for the service tax. Is there any way to offset this? I'm a loyal Maybank customer.

I know there is one way to offset by using treat points however I have no sufficient points to offset my service tax, kindly advice.

afaik, there is no way to offset other than using points.

iinm, you can pay with cash first, and few months down the line, when you have enough points, you can call them to offset the RM100 you have paid earlier with cash. i did that few years back but not sure it still works. a call to the CS will solve this.

About the 10am Cashback promo, is it RM300 per cardmember for the whole campaign period? Or we have the chance to get RM300 everyday in the campaign? The TnCs seems to be vague...

Pay advance won't result to CL increased, this method I already ask the branch's bank officer. Call the card center is still the only way and fastest.
