surely they accept visa/master credit card, but amex wise i am not sure just go find out

AFAIK, some IT related merchants are reluctant to accept cc and will force the cc charge onto customer.

reported back in July that ALL IT @ IPC accepted AMEX for DIY parts only.

if you're at Plaza Lowyat, I've asked Jayacom that they dont impose cc surcharge and accepts AMEX too. All IT @ LYP supposedly impose surcharge, which i'm avoiding.

DIY meaning?

Do-It-Yourself basically parts e.g. hdd, ssd, ram, etc etc

should be as long as not complete system. go try ask them on CC payment T&Cs before start to shop that's what i do everytime visiting LYP.

if got surcharge or not accept amex, i go in, walk around, survey price, then go to next door

some might argue shops that accepts cc already included surcharge in the price, well, it's up to us to shop wisely lor. if we think the price is too high, then go to next one and next one and next one.

yeah, dont drive up to LYP just to get 5% cashback from amex. doenst worth it. if the price at IPC is comparable after considering the cost driving to shops that give slightly better price, then stick to IPC.

For Digital Mall branch, All it accept my amex for payment, but i also buy part but not complete pc

certain bank call when i try 3rd time, another bank when 4th, another bank when 5th. also got bank don't call and just block.

except for cimb cash rebate cc and cimb petronas cc, all other cimb cc are pretty useless.
