Out of all the 10 games including today's deal, which do you recommend i buy? I dont own any of game.

As far as I know trine 2 not worth it, coz i saw in previous steam offer Trine+Trine2 only 2dollars if i'm not wrong.
So I'm thinking maybe the current price for all 10 is not yet the best price?

And i estimate can only finish 1 game by end of the week, which should I choose?
*
XCOM, Company of Heroes 2 would be the best in the list. Grid 2 probably too if you're into racing games.

Injustice if you like fighting games (like street fighter), Payday 2 if you like robbing a bank in 1st person/3rd person? lol

Whatever it is download them and try first. You'd have several days to try them and make up your mind before throwing the $$.

That I agree. COH is indeed better than COH2, especially the campaign and skirmishes. COH2 can be played without the additional DLC commanders without problems, just that it feels somewhat lacking.
*
problem is COH now no discount? duno need wait till when. old game yet they so kiamsiap give discount sad.gif

hand itchy looking at pirate bay .. haihz.. duno how long i can wait.

downloaded CoH2 and trying now.. see will make me buy or not.

btw the XCOM 80% discount is in US dollars.. so if buy at Steam's current discount only difference 50+cents nia.. i decided to give away the discount coupon la at the forums.. no point. I have some Steam credits leftover anyway.

Buying COH2 Digital Deluxe will net you original COH complete as well as COH2 plus some of it's DLCs.
*
yeah just found out about it too.

Company of Heroes 2 Digital Collector edition does contain CoH1 + all its expansion. As written here (strange why Steam doesn't state it properly):

http://blogs.companyofheroes.com/2013/12/1...ectors-edition/

found out about it here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/231430/discu...68793817605047/

Go to CoH2 page, and get the digital collector edition.. worth it for what you're getting. CoH1 and 2 in it + CoH1 all expansions + CoH2 two of its expansions.. the other 2 expansions u still gotta buy tho Zzz cry.gif

There is still Western Front Armies that adds 2 more faction that is more interesting than the first 2. Also, an upcoming campaign DLC called Ardennes Assault.
*
thanks.. just got the Western Front too... fuuuuu.... sweat.gif

not going spent RM75 for the upcoming DLC Ardennes Assault tho.. just too expensive. Will wait it out. moneyflies.gif

i actually tried the game and like it.. damn Valve is so genius at making ppl spent money for games sweat.gif

hope to see more of such "try first before play" + discount right after... really tempting lo if you love the game for what it is.

Company of Heroes 1 is awesome man.

I played CoH2 till mission 4 but I kinda feel the game isn't that optimized (tends to lag even one low graphic settings). A few times felt it's just so-so overall.. (how they put it together and present as a package)

CoH1 is different, can run damn smooth even when all the settings are sky high! (much better presentation, smoothness, and feel) The in game is also beautiful! IMO more beautiful than CoH2 due to better optimization. Lovin' every sec of it .. And right now I'm only completing the tutorials but already feeling like this... walaowe can't imagine how I will feel when doing campaigns.. the tutorial is much more detailed and deep compare to CoH2 also. I notice more build features too? Hmm CoH2 is more like Warhammer? summon units and control points?

get CoH1 guys.. you won't regret it (right now you can get it discounted by buying CoH2 collector edition <-- includes all of CoH1 + expansions). thumbup.gif now I know why everyone says CoH1 is a much better game than CoH2. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Can play now = worth it.

Buy now and play later = wait for deeper discount?
*
true also. hmm.gif

I have other games in my list to play/finish .. I guess I will wait for deeper discount.

Reached my budget liao after recently getting the collector edition for CoH2.

Somemore got alot of negative feedback for both redux editions. Ppl raging for the need to fork out so much for some graphical enhancement. There are report of bugs/crashes especially on NVidia cards too.

just sell those cards to get $$$ la and buy more games in future.. regretted keeping them and making into badges.. really serves no purpose as no one so free to go see your profile anyway.. even if they see all your badges they'll just shake their head and think you're too rich getting a set of them.

bought Metro Redux set only to realize it requires 64 bit windows Zzz

do not do the same mistake as me.. I'm on Windows 7 32 bit and bought this game.

currently in progress of asking for a refund. No way I'm re-formating to 64bit just for a game.

games that are too new will have problems with my almost dinosaur PC, haha. old ones are better, until i've enough to upgrade it!  rclxms.gif
*
I find new games at full price is really off my budget. RM100+ for a new game? whoa. With that money can buy around 10 games that are on sale and will take forever to play them haha.

Also new games sometimes are not as good as the older titles. As they might contain bugs.. or after sometime ppl play it a lot found out it is not as good as it seems.

Pre-purchasing a game is really a high risk and not recommended nowadays (see what happened to Civ Beyond Earth, Arkham Origins, Watch_Dogs etc). Better to at least wait till release even if you can afford the price tag.

I'm not sure about Civ 5, but the only Civ I had ever played is Civ 1, one of the best experience I had, used 2 months to finish a map  sweat.gif Didnt experienced any bugs back then, maybe their quality degraded since then.
*
which planet you living on? tongue.gif

Civ 5 Complete with all its add-ons is GLORIOUS. Must play for any strategy fans! (more so for you since you've played the hell outta Civ1). Get it when it is on 75-80% sales next time on Steam .. add it to your wishlist so you'll receive email notification when it's on sale.

Civ 3 and 4 is good too.. But 5 is ultimate la since it's a major upgrade in terms of graphics, gameplay, research, diplomacy, victory conditions, mods etc. thumbup.gif

just tested Fallout 3 GOTY... nice game man even when it's a 2009 game.

did the steps in the pinned post: http://steamcommunity.com/app/22370/discus...37546147175081/

then downloaded FOSE and unofficial patch from Nexus Mod. Then change the Fose launcher to fallout launcher so Steam picks me up that I'm playing the game. Added MME Save O Tron mod (as the in game autosave is buggy). Yea pretty lengthy steps but I'm sure it's worth it..

so far so good.. I'm impressed with the beginning of the story itself already thumbup.gif

now drooling drool.gif and thinking whether should I get Fallout : New Vegas Ultimate with 66% discount... Will the discount go any lower? haha RM12 bucks.. I think it's good enough..

Putting on max speed will actually cause my PC to lag too @@
