does it have to be from a smartphone?

as others have mentioned, it's not just about using an app and editing on a PC. it's a very detailed process you wont be able to learn from a single post. not to mention ur product is already challenging to photograph.

i'd say the easiest thing you can do (apart from hiring someone to do it...doesnt have to be a professional) is try with a proper digital camera. borrow one if you dont have any. megapixels doesnt matter...almost any digital camera will work better than smartphone cameras.
