I one of the few who need a lot of voice calls now. Got new gf wants me to call a lot.
Reach my credit limit for few months then decided to switch to One plan.

If postpaid to postpaid, have to wait within 2 days. so have to mnp first.
If prepaid i think can mnp on the spot.

they've set up the place already. Not complete yet though.

Dunno whether they continue after midnight or tomorrow morning. The individual booth for telco also still at the side. Telco booth quite small.

But the big booth all set up already.

Obvious now Maxis and Celcom going different directions.

Celcom - data centric
Maxis - voice centric

If you need internet more than voice, go for celcom.
If you need voice more than internet, go for maxis.

Having said that, its kinda stupid for Maxis to just offer two plans for their customers.

It means that if the price of the device + upfront payment is less than RM 600, you can only use Citibank Credit Card and not any other card. Since all other cards have minimum purchase amount higher than RM 600.

As another example, if you have CIMB card. You can only buy phone + upfront payment that is more than RM1200 since that is the minimum purchase price for the CIMB card as stated.

What you need to read is the eligible amount for easy payment plan. That is the total amount to be paid over 12/24 months. The installment is in the next column.

Maxis confirmed the price for Note 4 and One plan. Maxis also just send email informing the phone is here. No freebies or anything. Thats all for ROI.

For now just 2 years. Hopefully they will release 1 year as well like previously.
Laat year they also release 2 years initially, then release 1 year as well to compete with Celcom.
