4 days left and nothing up for the accessories, looking for the wireless back but wonder how much thicker it's going to be.

Dont think it will be very thick or maybe no changes laugh.gif correct me if im wrong..haha

Read Amazon reviews that Note 3 with wireless charging back will not fit many cases, hence my curiosity. tongue.gif
Not sure if the Note 4 can hold up to scratches from coins, keys, etc, especially the aluminum edge.

Aluminium is bound to have it's wear and tear unless u are using casing/bumper to cover it up, but the back casing, it might be able to hold up to scratches since it's plastic and not the gloss type laugh.gif
*
Maybe I'll use it 'naked' for a while and if it does scratch then I'll get a case, current phone is all plastic, hold up well. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(joytest @ Oct 13 2014, 04:23 PM)
I got a slim qi receiver for my Note3 and it fits nicely with the stock back cover. No effect on my Spigen case.
*
Nice, got to get one when available. rclxms.gif Does it cause the back cover to bulge up or heat up much when charging?

Very very slight almost imperceptible bulge. It gets mildly warm, not hot.

Note that due to current wireless charging tech, the max you get is about 600-700ma so it is best used for overnight charging.
*
Thanks, it's enough for my needs. thumbup.gif

I prefer none. Haha.

If really want SP, I will pick glass, but with such cut out, I rather not putting anything on it.

QUOTE(((Xa))0102 @ Oct 14 2014, 01:23 AM)
Me too, I don't paste anything on my phones since my Note 3
*
Won't coins and keys scratch the glass when in the pocket? shocking.gif

My phone always separate with them. Every pants at least 3 pockets, don't see the needs put together.
*
Might have to start using the back pockets. laugh.gif

So far keys and coins only managed to scratch the plastic/metal parts of my phone but not the screen

But sand and rocks definitely will
*
It's amazing enough that the screen can withstand scratches from keys & coins. thumbup.gif

i see, i guess i wont be getting it since i register interest with my 2nd number and it's not with Maxis
*
Won't it be that you'll more likely to be invited since they ought to be more interested in people switching over?

Too many invited to fight for the 100 free, won't be going even if they call up.
I'll just check with the local Samsung stores on 17th for freebies. If none then I'll take my time ordering
screen protectors and stuff before buying it. whistling.gif

I'd rather do it without contract.
*
True, unless there's use for the plan, it ends up more or less like paying for it in installments. tongue.gif

Nope....even worse than installment since it's 2 years. Do the math.
*
You're assuming that one will not use any part of the plan then it'll definitely be more expensive,
else it depends on the individual.

Wow... the Gear S looks kinda big...
*
It is big, if only Samsung not make it look like their phones, place the home button on the side and trimmed the bezels.
Still it's one of the most feature rich smartwatch, just too big for my hands. Looking forward to the Gear Live.

don't think samsung malaysia will bring gear live to Malaysia
it already selling more than 2 months, no news at all
so just get website or other seller in garage sales biggrin.gif
*
Thanks for the heads up, guess it's made only to appease Google, their main focus is still on their Tizen platform. tongue.gif
Will look for it elsewhere.

Why r u guys suddenly into smartwatch? Just because free gear s, it sparked the interest in smart watch? Moto 360 is still the best. ..and since only gear circle and no gear s, I might be getting the moto 360 once arrive
*
Not just suddenly, just see some potential for it.

E.g.
1. I tend to miss calls in noisy environment, sometimes don't feel the vibration either, lots of stuff in the pocket.
2. Media controller for music makes it less necessary to take the phone out.
3. GPS logging on the watch possibly more reliable than phone in the pocket.
4. Alarms, notifications, caller ID, again less need to take phone out.
5. Small bonus - phone can find watch, watch can find the phone too. laugh.gif

They should've used the same type of paint job as it is on the Alpha, which is no paint job
*
Yup, better that it come plain then watch it scratch.
Although its easy to remove with solvent, it feels weird and may attract negative comments from people around.
