I just switched on my Note4. For normal text, there's no discernible difference. LYN looks the same even when zoomed in closely.

However, it prompted me to perform an update within 15 mins, which was 24mb in size. What I noticed was that the text on the recovery installation screen was very sharp, sharper than what I have perceived on an FHD screen. Perhaps, over time, as your eye gets used to 2k displays, FHD will look grainy.

here is my humble review on the awesome gear s:

INTRO: ok, i never used a smartwatch or a fitness band b4. so when the first time i used the gear s, i was very overwhelmed at the features and things it could do..at first i thought i wouldnt need it, but after a DAY of usage, i feel that it compliments the note 4..perfect companion 

MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL: THE SIZE
-ok some of you might think its too big xreactorz , but trust me, its not that big...fits my hand perfectly and in the picture got comparison with normal watch

WHAT IT CAN DO: basic stuff like make calls, sms, whatsapp, pedometer, heart rate, uv, wifi, network data, music player, nike fitness, gallery, etc etc..

AFTER A DAY OF USING IT:

-no noticable lag OVERALL, although not as smooth as the mighty note 4, GOT LAG when end call to watch screen...very little lag.

-battery will test thorough tomorrow.

-display gooding...

-music player is a nice feature, with the built in speakers.

-the best of all, the pedometer which is useful for me

-design is very simple and feels premium

-strong haptic feedback and loud speaker

-SEAMLESS CONNECTION WITH THE NOTE 4 GEAR APP

DISADVANTAGES: NOT WATER PROOF.

today is my lucky day ...

trying my luck at Gurney Paragon after Friday prayers... went there around 2:45pm. standing at the demo session waiting to get hands on.. then suddenly came a guy offering a number he had extra (thak you sir, if you are in LYN  ). Then i am the first to take it . So manage to get the Gear Circle but need to wait till end of next month. Only white choice available which i dont care much about colour.

moving from S4 to N4 . New experience. Now going to look for screen protector and bumper/silicon case. Any recommendation?
