Nice review, can you take a look at the video recording where you pan it sideways very fast and it will feel jello-ish.

The OIS seems to make it worse

For those who plan use the fingerprint use the same finger for all three fingerprint slot make sure each slot u swipe is the way you swipe ur finger to unlock the phone on actual real use...the more finger variation angles scanned the better the fingerprint scanner works however it still no match for apple implementation
And do remember to swiped slowly with practice ull get it!

ok, here is my review of the note 4 (unbiased review) and i wont talk about the gear s here as i already talk bout it in a review b4 this

body design and gap gate:
-metal frame makes the phone more solid, but come on, u r going to put a case so it doesnt make a HUGE difference
- although the gapgate is not as severe they those haters told, its still there...and after 2 days of usage, i notice some dust particle in the gap. nothing new since i own the s3 before this

buttons
-solid. end of story

display
-samsung is clearly the winner here with the gorgeous display
-but 2k display is really over kill..i can even distinguish 2k with full hd..and i dont see the use of 2k display at the moment..maybe in future yes.

extra features
-fingerprint, hearr rate sensor, uv, and infared is a warm welcome to the note 4, but i think most wont even bother to use those features except the fingetprint. (like me  )

UI
-SAMSUNG clearly made a lighter version of the ui..but still, they could have take out alot of thing to make it lighter and better AS BELOW (IMO LA)
-flipboard briefing,
-s finder
-quick connect
-pen.up
-and those google softwares like play game, newsstand, playbook etc etc

Camera
-im not a experienced camera tester..but i know that the night shots are not that good(see the pics i posted in this thread). samsung should tune the hdr feature better

other minor features
-speaker could have been better.
-all those smart features and those motion features better disable to increase battery life.
-not a fan of the camera bulging out because now i need to get a thicker case

battery
-certainly better than note 3

Immediate thing I don't quite like is the display. Is glaringly bright and colors still so unnaturally fake ( typical Samsung Amoled). Its 2K quality vs my previous Oppo Find 7 :  the Oppo Find 7 is my choice

I have the same feeling. Glaring due to the curved shade of screen. It make me recall those plasma tv when using it outdoor. May be install anti glare screen protector. Feel that Note 3 is better when seeing the screen outdoor. Indoor wise, screen is excellent with 2D display. I can distinguish it the different if compared with Note3 especially when i zoom out to maximum to read text.

Collected my black Note 4 this morning, there's an update to the firmware but it's huge! 
Cancelled it at the moment, estimate ~1GB, is it normal?

Thanks andrew, tio poison straight, looks like note 4 is a clear winner. The 1st shot looks like it was taken with HDR on. See the padini shot, ip6+ looks washed and cooler. I been to padini and co before so it feels like note 4 shot is more real to the scene to me.
