Need somewhere to host my photos. Se7en might as well foot the bill for me on that one. So here goes, my crappy pics. All are unedited, because i'm no photochop person in the first place, but you guys are welcome to help me edit them.

Bon Odori Pictars. Because a Loli is fine too.

i like the 2nd last picture of the 3rd pictures post of yours. Makes me reminisce the good ole times. But you should smudge the kitchen with some poo, adds more to its nostalgic value.

Hi, just want to know what camera you are using?

Here are some of my 2cents:
1. Most pictures lack sharpness, dont know if its due to re-size problem.
2. White balance and exposure not correct
3. Some pictures lack subjects
4. Color seems dull

the kids photos are not bad...
try using other resizing software...
your photos seems to have a great lost in details...
just my opinion...

handheld. That's why alot of pics had to be sharpened to the point i lost alot of detail, not all of them lah, but i try to over or underexpose for an exaggerative effect.

Most due to resize issue due to the fact i use MSpaint.

2nd problem is ISO noise, actually most of the scenes are dark and i shot with my 350D kitlense in 5.6.

Technical Limitation FTL..... cry.gif

NEVAR MSPAINT IS GOD!

I just can't bring myself to resize with anything besides MSPAINT....i've used it since i was a kid....

Anyways here are new pics with better resize tecknologi

Note that these pics are even more horrible and subjectless than the last batch, and sometimes even blurrier due to the fact the 5D is a f***er that weighs nearly a kilo even without a lense. Most are just arty test shots, may or may not appeal to some. Little or no post processing used except for some brightness and contrast tweaks. Just using these shots to get used to the camera.

Since everyone's a pedophile, here's loli goodness, can't get rid of the noise.....need NN action, but no marneyyyyy.

I have recently joined the ranks of ausfags, and of course i've brought my shit heavy camera here, which every says is somekind of bazooka.

Like usual i didn't edit the photos, i'm just too inept for that, but i did use Paint.net for resizing (Supersampling) and it should have less detail loss compared to my older photos. I still think MSPAINT rocks. Mind the spots on the pics, i sneezed on the lense and wasn't really bothered to clean all the snot off it. Dem i really mistreat my gear lol.

Note : Best Bench i ever slept on. Was too cheap to get a hotel after i landed in Brisbane and since all the cheap places in Roma Street were full, so it was natural i used it. In front of police station somemore leh.

Most of the shots aren't that good because i took them inpromptu, the 70-200 is too heavy to use walkaround style and its focal length is too long, plus its backfocusing so AF isn't accurate anymore until i send it for repair in Brisbane.. Waiting for my Zeiss and mount converter.

i love the lady pic.. really good bokeh and have that aussie feel.

sad to hear the 70-200mm f2.8L IS backfocusing issue..

btw, u need to do more justice to your 5d and get the 65mm instead. better coverage for the awesome landscapes there.

SLRs are meant to give you shit pictures until you edit them lol that's the awesome part about shooting RAW (exposure compensationnnnn).

Too bad i'm too f***ing lazy unless it involves women or lolis. Example being the sunset photo could use a bit of dodge and burn, luminosity change, and rape. Generally, put less emphasis on everything else aside from sunset and the clouds.

Anyways good camera doesn't mean great shots, if your camera man sucks like me, you're bound to get shit pictures, because SLRs are inherently manual cameras and rely on skill rather than Auto's pot luck of normal cameras.

lol PnS i'm not sure but SLR, surely.

As you go higher up the ladder, you'll find that the pictures actually suck more at stock (yeah, you pay more for crap stock photos), pro SLRs generally assume that the camera man will sit down and edit his pics so they dispense with noise reduction, sharpening and processing.

Now i'll have to find a torx to adjust the body due to focus issues tongue.gif

I like this 2 pictures.

First the Duck, I like it because of the colours on the ducks feather is reflecting on the same colour of the water.
Then the picture with the title "Uniplaza Crt Fish n Chips", I like the effect of the picture, around corner are dark and blur... While the concentration is more towards to the boy and the refrigerator. *Bright*

Poasting Sunshine Coast pics, finally cleaned out the sensor of my 5D and i kind of got Sand into my Cam. Had a great deal of fun with members of the MTS (Malaysian Toowoomba Society ; impromptu name), all of us on holiday except for a few guys there doing their doctorates, but they still came anyway (skip research bad Mior....Dr Talal know then you habis)

Yesh, we're a pseudo malaysian society with only 50 percent malaysians, rest from India, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia and even the USA, because we figured out that all these countries are pretty close to Malaysia, thus it's ok. But heck these guys are more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Will post pictures of Ostalia Zoo in my next post. Time to work on eng design work and my energy audit for now tongue.gif

None of me inside, because no one else is qualified to operate dee-ess-elle-are technology. Can you believe you actually need a degree to operate these things? laugh.gif

Just did the curves for a darker outline because contrast change would ruin the already inherent color of the sunset. Also added the customary +2 Sharpen that is recommended for Canon Full Frames due to the AA filter.

The sunshine coast and it's autumn sun has a glow like no other and as the sun fades you can see a tingle of orange across the horizon. Breathtaking if you ask me.

Added on April 13, 2008, 1:05 amMore pictures from the land of ostalia.

Sold to Sponsor other lenses since knowing my father he'll never get things done until someone starts cursing.

Plan to get the 14mm Superfisheye as a replacement as i keep gravitating towards primes.

Tripod goes out, but not much due to the problem of carrying it rather than the weight as i need both my hands for most actions. Will get a tripod bag later on, but see how lah.

I use a 3 way 804RC head lah laugh.gif. I always take my time with most shots, so i figured a ball head would be a waste of cash. And not heavy, because i don't use the 70-200 with it's extender for astrography, but it's new kawan, my 50mm 1.2L.

3 way makes Astrophotography hard because the stupid head can only tilt to around 60 degrees. But i just mount it backwards which makes it a tad bit harder, but it does the job.

Getting the hang of the EOS5D's capabilities, before this i used to follow on as i were using my 350D, and since i discovered the awesome unholy power of manual focus, i feel my shots tighten up. Above all, i now use decent post processing and a pure RAW workflow to take advantage of the 5D's capabilities.

Also; Loli Sniping Skill LVL UP.

Here's my try at Telephoto Portraits, keeping it abit underexposed because it was taken facing the sun, thus the face should be abit underexposed.

70-200 2.8L IS with EF 2x Extender
50mm 1.2L
Leica Summilux 50mm 2.0
Zeiss Planar-T 50mm 1.4

I used to have
16-35 2.8l
24-105 4.0L IS

Anyways here's a few shots to get my eye for color correct. Just old shots, practiced on with nothing artistic in mind.

Smelly Bahggers. Don't waste your money.

People should come to aus to photograp topless women on the beaches or the bush in it's glory, not to mention the islands along the queensland coast, they're effin nice.

Got, but got few issues.

1. I don't know shit about where stars are. I simply aim and bam!
2. Regret Selling wide angle, since i don't know where the good stars are, i need a panorama. 14mm Fishyeye GET.
3. Stupid Canon and their sial low pass with IR and UV high filter. Filters out all the good hydrogen alpha red. Once i get MkIII, this b**** is going under the knife to remove those filters.
4. Focusing. Serious Business.

But here's an attempt from me. Recommended PPing applied. The Tinged red area should be far more red, but teh filters raped it.

Nop. There supposed to be a whole load more of red, but i suppose one cannot edit a picture where the red doesn't exist in the first place due to the sensor filter. Drats.

No good shots for this week. Too lazy after my barrage of assignments. Also got alot of bills to deal with, which kill mood to snap pics.

But i have one of a cat at my friend's place. Could have framed it better, but was more interested in eating sausages with nandos sauce lol.

Went out to town. Got a few good shots.

This one was actually taken at night under a streetlight at low shutter with MF Zeiss. 1/20th, a bit too blur for my liking.

400mm achieved with a teleconverter.

Anyways 50mm has become the staple lense which i photograph with.

Was taken in my uni, just so happened it was around 5 (sun sets here early), and since the courtyard is surrounded by buildings, the light penetrated at this perfect angle which illuminated him only. Just did some curves to get a better contrast effect.

Use in Lightroom. Luminescence curves to tweak the light.

Taking pics out in standard output mono is pointless and ugly, color cameras were never meant to do BW photography. That's a job for T-Max or Delta with a good rangefinder like the M6, Bessa or Ikon. Thus curve tweaking is a must. But for now i'll use what i have until i grow balls to move on to film.

Added on July 3, 2008, 8:11 pmuser posted image

One extra pic. Already OOF so i generally blurred it further and tweaked a few things to give the 60s to 70s technicolor look for a feeling of warm fuziness as you can see with the father with sons bonding at Maccas thang. Meant to throw viewer back to days where folks going out with their kids was more common place.

very deep contrast in the b&w pics. PP'ed much eh?

Yeap. It's very unfortunate that i know shit about film. But my idea is that since backgrounds and clothing are mostly darker than faces, by creating a stark contrast between the subject, clothing and environment, it makes you focus on 2 things in general, the face and the action at hand.

I also use the contrast to blur out details with oversaturation of black or white, because i want people to look at the pic, not the pixels.

Being very honest with anyone i'll say i still suck at PP lol.

My probable entry for the BHP Billiton competition with an "Outback" theme, although if you ask me it's a little boring...will try harder to get a few good shots worth sending in aside from this one.

Visited Brisbane for a shortwhile today. Did some shooting near the ANZAC monument and Adelaide Street.

Tried Dragging the shutter on this one, but the lady wouldn't stay still long enough. Anyone good in PP is welcome to help me bring out the trails of the moving people smile.gif

Took my camera to Friday prayers (where don't i take the damned thing lol)

I call this picture, Faith. As a Muslim one must believe that the Quran is the ultimate source of guidance for life, in a way, Nur, or light, so i tried to give the light coming through the windows more weightage and made the rays more obvious to pass along the message better.

nice pics empy, you should stick to street photography, you have the talent. i love the B&W, very stylish, full of emotions, truly sentimental. i wonder if you can bring the same feeling if you are shooting in the havoc and chaotic heart of KL. keep posting your pics, we really appreciate it.

I haven't shot in a long time, but here's some new pics i just took on my East Australian 4000 km road trip lol.

Best part? Downgrading from 1Ds Mark III kit to Nikon D60 with kitlense.

Taken on the New England Highway. My car, "Parrot Killer", named due to fact that i hit a whole family of the flying beasts with 2 getting lodged in the Radiator and 1 in my Intercooler, the rest were turned into tyre paste lol. Engine bay was also filled with feathers. Car Survived fine, birds didn't.
