QUOTE(glo @ Jul 22 2006, 11:50 PM) nah, i doubt it. the n73 will most probably be positioned lower than the n80. Why cheaper than N80? Because it's not a slider phone? Because it doesn't have wifi? But this one camera got Carl Zeiss lens and Autofocus wor...but i also hope it's not that expensivehopefully, less than rm2k for an ap set.. *keeps fingers crossed* QUOTE(andrewL @ Jul 23 2006, 12:11 AM) K800 isn't that bad, but the size ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by samurai1337: Jul 23 2006, 07:49 AM |

QUOTE(akachester @ Jul 26 2006, 06:03 PM) 1.8-2k is acceptable. However I think it will be slightly more than that. (probably 2.2k as said by amunriel) QUOTE(jsteh82 @ Jul 27 2006, 10:18 PM) Yeaps.. sure it is usable in Malaysia. But need to send back to singapore for warranty just incase the phones is faulty! (which is unlikely to happen for new hp nowadays) Unlikely to happen? I would rather not to take any risk. |

QUOTE(sayming @ Jul 28 2006, 07:24 PM) Appears to be fishy1. He's a "new" member, and his first and only post is about selling N73 2. Not much information about the sale. Not sure whether zitron is already distributing the phone or not. Did went to their website and check but it's now under construction lol. I will wait This post has been edited by samurai1337: Jul 28 2006, 11:17 PM |

QUOTE(europology @ Aug 4 2006, 10:07 PM) Thanks for stating the obvious.I was explaining in layman term instead of typing the full name of wifi QUOTE(europology @ Aug 4 2006, 10:03 PM) The difference is, you've to pay approx hundred for a month or 1 cent per KB if you use 3G/EdgeYou pay nothing extra if you connect to wifi. Very good specs...Considering it between this and K800 still.
But the back side of the phone looks very plasticky, I haven't tried holding it yet though. |

QUOTE(Mgsrulz @ Aug 6 2006, 09:51 PM) QUOTE(StratOS @ Aug 6 2006, 09:53 PM) While you can install all the funky stuff on your S60 set, it could be a bad thing as well.1. Smartphones are generally slower than normal mobile phones, especially when too much applications are installed. 2. Battery consumption is relatively higher as smartphones requires more processing power. 3. Practicality is an issue. How many people need to use PDF viewer and video player on a 2-inch screen anyway? To me, most probably it's something that NICE TO HAVE but not necessary a MUST HAVE. |

QUOTE(Mgsrulz @ Aug 6 2006, 10:20 PM) first two is a non issue,in my case since even the 3230's supposedly weak battery has never died on me before. Sounds so fanboyish to me...ah nvm and the third, well, normal phones can do that as well btw,not all non s60 phones are fast the nokia 6101,for example,is slooowwwww.... for a s40 phone, thats bad.. QUOTE(accs_centre @ Aug 7 2006, 04:00 PM) I also prefer the upper one. But the camera cover doesnt really look classy to me This post has been edited by samurai1337: Aug 7 2006, 08:58 PM |

QUOTE(Mgsrulz @ Aug 11 2006, 10:23 AM) It seems like many of your posts are really pro-S60, and it's a major point for you when you compare different phones.I'm okay with it. But the point is, not all people really need it To those who don't really need it, it might be a burden as well, as welwitchia mentioned, some models are suffering slow speed when sending SMS and you've to admit that it's not stable as OS-less handsets. So IMO it depends on personal preference. For you S60 maybe is a great advantage but maybe for some, they purposely don't want to buy NOkia handsets just because of S60 Just my 2 cents. No sarcasm attempted This post has been edited by samurai1337: Aug 11 2006, 05:19 PM |

QUOTE(welwitchia @ Aug 11 2006, 11:08 PM) ^ The N80 has only one speaker. I thought the N73 has 3 speakers? 3D ringtones too Agree, the screen-keypad ratio kinda reminds me of nk3230 or k800. A common problem when a candy bar phone needs to have big screen.Anyway, i personally find the N73 a tad "ugly". Its gives me the feeling of "big head, small body"..u get what i mean. I'll stick with the N80 for the time being. The screen is just too good to miss. But my main problem is actually the back side which looks really plasticky (especially the red colour one) |
