I recently purchased one (my main requirement being USB input as well ), JVC brand rm 738 from Brothers
so far no prob from those i saw, the only ones that fit ure budget would be Brothers brand (2 models around rm600 - got 2 years warranty) Brothers brand ( rm 390+ ) - i read somewhere that it kong-ed for some1 after 1 month, so questionable ROCKET BRAND! (rm 290+ ) good luck |

I'm not much of a car audiophile but..
QUOTE(neuvas @ Sep 7 2006, 07:18 PM) ur jvc HU... http://www.jvc-australia.com/products/_pro...ils.asp?ID=15011) what model? support wma? (price in AUD) yup support wma QUOTE(neuvas @ Sep 7 2006, 07:18 PM) 2) does it disply mp3 id tags? Not sure, my observation is, they play in order of filename, but they display song title from mp3 id tags (not sure-you can bring ure own usb thumb drive to the syop n plug in to test thats what i did)QUOTE(neuvas @ Sep 7 2006, 07:18 PM) 3) built in amp.. mosfet? no ideaQUOTE(neuvas @ Sep 7 2006, 07:18 PM) front panel, can see in the pic(but its not part of the detachable front panel, means when u take out the face, the usb port is still there) This post has been edited by rotanidrow: Sep 8 2006, 09:51 AM |

Hi all,
Can i know about the sound quality that produced by the JVC HU? I heard that the SQ is not that good as described by the Brothers. I also heard from some other shop down the KL sayng that the durability of Kenwood is BAD!! Cause i am dilemma to get either the Kenwood or the JVC that have usb input. Anyone can tell me bout the sound quality and durability of JVC and Kenwood compare to Pioneer and the Eclipse? Thanks for providing the infomation. |
