im rooted and using CWM. downloaded the 38R via OTA, but since im afraid it will screw up my phone, i tried to install via the recovery. and this is what i did.

1. copy the .zip from /cache to /sdcard/0/
2. reboot into recovery
3. install from zip
4. wipe cache partition
5. reboot system now
6. if there is a prompt that your root has problem, and you are given option to fix it or not. choose yes.
OR
7. if it said that your phone is not rooted, u need to install supersu back, and reboot.

but somehow after updated, it fcuked up my icon tranparency.



now this is where i need some help. i applied hexo icon from theme showcase, and the transparency seems working but its the old icons. but i want the stock flat square2 icons like in the screenshot. how do i get them back? tq.

EDIT: fixed. all i need to do is go to settings -> themes -> icons -> hexo icon pack

no wonder la bootloop. u wiped your data. hehe

this might be not relevant to u guys, but there is this one game that i play that break prior 38R. people who reverted back to 33R reported able to run again.

dayyumm. im getting the media server battery drain

nope. i dont use such widget.

wait. i did try connecting to my ps3, eventho the ps3 didnt detect it as usb drive. maybe that trigger the media server

OPO should be free from yellow tint right now.
