QUOTE(xowangzi @ Oct 10 2014, 12:59 PM)
Have been using the phone for a week. Interested to know what can we tweak on this phone? In terms of performance, visual, battery n etc. Ytd my stock int unit app opening speed slaughter my friend's ip5s kaw kaw. Hehe. Tried ART and I'm stuck on opening Fb and Spotify. Others r okay. Now back to Dalvik.
*
I noticed that also, on ART after the 38r update, FB stuck at setting up facebook. Changed back to Dalvik, working fine.
Damn, been on ART since 30o, and now have to move back to Dalvik...

Meizu MX4 Pricing and LTE for Malaysia

The MX4 will have full 4G LTE support for Malayia for Lte Bands TD-LTE/FDD-LTE/TD which is real advantage vs the main competitor Xiaomi Mi4 which works only for chinese 4G at the moment.

The Meizu MX4 will come to Malaysia End of October and will sell at a price of 1048RM, which is very competitive for what the Meizu MX4 offers.

What do you think about the MX4?Is it strong enough competition for Xiaomi Do you consider buying one?

But the design of MX4 is no match for OPO.
Only the extremely thin side bezel makes it more appealing than the OPO

Body build material is great, but with 2Gb RAM.
Price of those premium spec phone from China are getting lower, I wonder how will the giants, Fruits, and the korean company gonna compete.

Wow. Not only me facing that. But mine is 33R not 38R.
Don't know when only get my update. Omg.
*
That's weird, I got no problem when I'm on 33r, just after update to 38r it got stuck.
Was it the Facebook new update that is causing this? But is Facebook even updated recently?

Yeah fb just updated. Maybe new Fb cannot support Art? Possible?
*
Just checked, Facebook updated on 9th Oct. Guess that is the reason, Facebook does not support ART at the moment.

Hi guys, anyone managed to deal with the occasional black lines across the screen after the 38r update yet?
*
I experienced that once also, on the page battery monitor widget, ignored it.
Happens again on my lockscreen. Just rebooted this morning, flashed to r26, didn't notice anything unusual now yet.

LUMIA?  shocking.gif

Never again.  doh.gif

Whats wrong with lumia? Only for the offline GPS and the camera, its worth the price. Not mentioning the smooth OS and wireless charging.
The apps in Window Phone are still immature, very buggy even for those popular apps.

Even now after 2 months with my OPO, I still miss my Lumia camera, Windows Phone UI, much more smooth and simple.

Just for Android, tweak and tweak non stop, wonder if the chip will go hay wire after so many flashes.

Ugh, yes. I like the smooth OS. Nokia camera software is one of the best imo.(plus the lens) tbh, after MS bought over, I've stopped following WP news, so me been lagging behind.
Are the apps still buggy now? Thought they've made improvement? hmm.gif
*
Yeap, after Microsoft bought over, its like everything slowed down. No new exciting features or new phone.
Got my OPO the day Window 8.1 OTA arrived, updated and let it sleep as it is, so no comment on it.

Been on r26 for one day. Noticed on idle draw constant -10mah
On Stock kernel, idle at 5-10mah, while mostly stays at 7-9

SOT almost the same, as I'm light user, idle time battery life is better for me, guess this time stock kernel is better.

I untick all d herbs

Btw, how to extend screenshot time...always ss ownself
*
Half the battery with 4hours SOT is very good. Meaning to say you will get 7-8 hours SOT on full charge. You still need more ?
I barely get 3-4 hours SOT on full charge, although battery on 2 and half days.

you are on 38R, and not on 22 or 25.

you need the boodloader to be unlocked, if not, no flashing via fastboot can be done. and the remedy your phone needs, needs twrp to be installed via fastboot.

if the bootloader is locked, once you unlock it, everything in the phone gets wiped, and you made it clear, you want your data back

Unlock bootloader will wipe data?
