Useless Gamer: Wolfenstein The Old Blood

Wolfenstein: The New Order was one of last year’s dark horses gaming-wise, and went on to be one of the best games of the year. This year, they’ve followed it up with the prequel “The Old Blood”, and we’ve decided to see what’s what, in our regular useless fashion.

The game runs perfectly fine at High settings, and the video below is recorded at 60 FPS. Make sure to enable the 1080P60 option in the Youtube player for maximum creamy smoothness.

Useless Gamer: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Hot game titles are coming thick and thin, and the latest big one is The Witcher 3. As you might’ve heard, it’s a title that has undergone the NVIDIA Gameworks treatment and should therefore be a perfect match for our gaming notebooks with GeForce GTX graphics.

Check out our gameplay video and commentary below, which we’ve recorded on the GT72 with a GTX 980M graphics card. Despite being an extremely heavy game on graphics, High settings are no problem.

Hi, you may visit NVIDIA control panel and change preferred graphics processor to NVIDIA.

Some tips: when the power button led in blue = using intel while amber = using nvidia graphics.

Changed. but i need to change each application that i want to run with my nvidia.
Which mean if i have installed GTA5, i need to go control panel and set GTA 5 use nvidia gc instead of always use my nvidia gc no matter what game or application i have installed in my laptop.

is this some kind of new feature? or ? hmm.gif

Most games should be already added to NVIDIA’s profile and has the default set by using the discrete GPU, but for those which doesn’t set the discrete GPU as the default graphics, you’ll need to set them up manually smile.gif

hey there peeps! I am currently in the market searching for a good laptop to bring to the UK for my tertiary studies. Asked around the forum and been sent here to ask some questions regrading the PE60.

Usage : AAA title games that are coming out and other that had came out. PLC programming, C programming and Python programming. Finite element analysis and SolidWorks. Some lightroom and photoshop photo editing. Watching movies, youtube videos and listening to music.

The above are my usage for the laptop and I know the laptop is more than capable to do most of those task, the question that I am wondering is how is their manufacturing quality? Does it have major issues (thermal throttle, USB issues etc.)

May I know how are the international warranty is like in the UK?

Please enlighten me, thank you!

NVIDIA Live at Computex

Computex kicked off with a bang for one of our main partners, NVIDIA. While no new mobile graphics parts were launched this year, it launched the new high-end offering GeForce GTX 980 Ti on the desktop side of things. The launch event was streamed to the world on Twitch, and featured none other than the NVIDIA CEO himself, Jen-Hsun “Jensen” Huang and a line of other guests.

However, the stream also featured an MSI product – the GT72 featuring nothing less than NVIDIA’s flagship mobile GPU – the GTX 980M. This is visible in plenty of shots during the livestream, which was broadcast in a mix of Chinese and English. Find the full stream here:
