I did have a look at other region's site, it do look the same, and weight were stated same as the one I have. So yea. But i do not intend to wait for gtx1050, i only need it to do my daily work and some minor content designing.

hmm, if weight are same with gtx1050 would be quite good, just say the P65 preorder at MSI malaysia, abit regret i bought the PS42 first cry.gif

5999 according to msi online store

no one review about this laptop mention thr is gtx1050 variant

my MSI laptop broken on hinge... it only on 8 months....very low quality despite the price is cost a bomb...

and other problem is backlit keyboard.... when i turn off all led light, some will lit dim compare previous...dunno either software related or hardware related...

you can see the blue light on the keyboard at 8-9 button, ctrl, shift and few more button....

PS42 already selling a few weeks ago...but I can't recommend it as it has many cons

For the hinge side, I suggest you better send it back for warranty.

For the keyboard light problem, I think that is due to the limitation of the keyboard. Since the backlight keyboard is combining red, green, and blue light to make any color.
More or less that the mixture LED lights on the market is also having a similar problem. Can find the color mixture isn't accurate. others brand also same..

Or else, you can send it back for warranty. Try to ask technician diagnose on it.

already set for warranty claim...

around 8 days

sent on 27 Oct 2018, finish repair on 04/11... today get the laptop...

Looking at that you are not heavy user and for normal usage, it's pretty decent. But if you wish to work smoother, upgrade the RAM and SSD.
