Authorize MSI shop?
If any component damage, its may fall under user mishandling bye.gif

That Gadget Zone Shop?? shocking.gif I bought my pe60 from there as well last time~~

Luckily I didn't send my laptop for thermal paste change to them. I might be unfortunate just like u if I did so... sweat.gif

Or, u were just so unlucky that time..... sweat.gif

So unfortunate. I bought my GT72 from them too. I hope they don't end up charging you for sending it in for servicing. Do update us on the situation.

Hahh its a gt60 with 870m , so they said gonna charged me 40 for checkup. Maybe because of the expired warranty. But i do hope not the motherboard please. Its still working well in the morning before i took it for thermal repaste so i had no idea what causes it.

You guys scared me ! I just got my MSI-GE62 for my tertiary education. I promised my Dad that I will use this computer for at least 4 years(because this laptop is quite expensive). Anyone are using MSI-GE62 and faced problems?

my previous post

"Bingo. Sent to service centre. Like hellfire said. Minimum 2 weeks. Mobo died.
Also fyi to other unfortunate msi users, figure out a way to backup your stuff. I came here and they told me they cant backup before reformat. I ask how can i backup if i turn it on?? Basically my entire hdd stuff is gone.
Bought for 26 days, used about 20 days, now gone for at least 14days. Woohoo"

Update 31/3/2016 - picked up my laptop after replacing motherboard. (yes my mobo spoil within 26days of purchase)
now my windows cannot be activated. apparently my windows key is already in use.

Hi guys me again.
Update from my previous posts, i got my laptop back after 2 weeks.
my motherboard was replaced in that time. Yes, my 26 day old laptop had a faulty mobo.

Anyways now i have another problem.
My windows cant be activated. Please refer to pics.
Anyone got any solution?

Originally it came with Win10, i formatted Win7. then when sent for repair they re-installed Win10.

On my pc registry it has a diff key. Search with program "produkey", different key.
What causes this mismatch?

i installed SSD also from where i bought. gadget zone digital mall.
Even though he carefully remove the sticker, when i sent mylaptop for warranty the remark on the report was
"warranty sticker void due to owner upgrade ssd and ram"

so, be sure to keep your receipt well!

Window 10, the key is embedded with Mobo, so your window key will change once mobo change.

SC should active window for you before release, normally microsoft wont bother OEM key, they will ask you back to OEM to fix the issue.

ya i knew instantly the standard 8gb ramis insufficient so might as well one shot.

in any case its always better to be prepared coz u know la when it comes to warranty etc, many shops/manufacturers will try their best to avoid fixing for you hahaha
