^ as long as ur in any of the go8 unis and do good while ur there, dont worry about the ability to secure a good job cos at the end of the day it all boils down to how u'll be able to carry yourself during interviews smile.gif but if u prefer a place with less distraction then yes, adelaide sounds just like the place for u.
*
can't be less distracting than what we have here tongue.gif

Now the engineer's pay in Perth is really good due to the mining boom. What happens when the mining boom cease? Would the engineer suddenly get less pay?

Hmm.... i think i will be doing civil, so i think it will be quite safe haha! cheers! icon_idea.gif

perth is so not malaysia/singapore/asia no matter who you talk to. yes, there's a quite a high number of singaporeans here, but compared to melbourne and sydney, perth's asian population is miniscule. we don't even have a proper chinatown, even adelaide's chinatown is better than ours.
*
china street also rather ... pathetic ..
but then again, got better than none.

I get 40kg via SIA  rclxm9.gif
Students get good deals from SIA. Seriously.

*
40 kg ? I fly SQ as well and they told me officially in an email that I get 30kg .... so there exists three possibilities here :
1. its the official 30kg + close eye 10kg... which happens quite often if u go to the airport early enuf ..
2. u're travelling business class
3. the check in counter fella is ur relative or friend.

so which is it?

if i go n check in early....
most probably... can go in with 10kg extra ar???
hahaha.....
how if i reli bring more than 30kg..
will they charge us extra??
*
when u go in early, try to choose the counter tat has the least ppl on it and the friendliest looking attendant... best if ur the first in line ... usually they just wanna get the line going and since its early they hv plenty of "spare weight" . hvnt tried 10kg b4 but i had friends who managed to get past 38.5 and 39.5kg past SQ counters by going really early..

I could use 2 calculators for my foundations exam last year which were the FX-570(normal scientific) and also the FX-9860AU (graphics calculator) which costs a bomb and I think is a pre-requisite if you're studying calculus or applicable mathematics. This applies for the foundation course in Western Australia, but I'm not sure about elsewhere.

hmmmm ...... are u by chance from the UWA ISS ?
