Haha, it seems like there are some people here who would like to study engineering and were all discussing about the ranking of U in Australia, well to me i think which U rank higher doesnt really mean anything unless you are wanted. No point studying in the best U in aussie and come out with no jobs rite? Engineers in Perth are really different, as there is a high demand for it. I have many friends in Perth working as engineers, and all of them agree that this is the place where u can get highly paid as an engineer.... i am not sure about how much engineers get paid else where but the amount here is quite good....

Yeap. But u will have to sign a 24months contract with them with a minimum usage every month. For example, on a 29cap plan, you will have to pay a minimum of 20-29 a month. Well i think it malaysia is much cheaper. Because you are not tied down to 1 phone for 2 years.

Haha, i didnt do that good. mine was only slightly above 90... For my year, any1 with TER above 88 can enter for engineering in uwa. So i am not sure about yours. Hope that you can make it!

haha... 0.5m for the course fees + your living expeneses for like 4++ years rite? so i think that will sum up to almost 0.9m....

I am pretty sure that is how much the total will cost as i have friends studying doctor in aussie, and i am myself studying in australia as well....
Living expenses here is really a killer!

but no worries... if you are hardworking enough you can get a part time job here and the pay here is really good!

Quite true... personally i have around 23 hours of lecture/tute as well, and i am working 12 hours a week which gets me around 130bucks which is like what jonathan has said, enough to buy me food and stuff for the week. excluding my rent!

In my opinion, i think UWA is one of the most affordable UNI that has been recognize as the group of 8... and living expenses in Perth is far more cheaper than in big cities such as Sydney and Melbourne.

As for uni in australia, you can actually do A lvl, or SAM (south australian matriculatiaon) which is available in taylors college... get an above average score and they should accept you. ( depending on the course you want to do ).

I am a SAM student, and i think its really good in assisting you to any uni in australia because it is just a 1 year course and it is recognize throughout australia!
