I'm going to Australia in 2009, there are a few of universities which is in my list, what I'm trying to ask is whether to go for a Go8 well reputation universities or to some which is not so well known but they are giving scholarships like newcastle, tasmania and so on. Is there any main difference between the graduates of these universities? By the way , im doing electronic and electrical engineering

QUOTE(limeuu @ Nov 12 2007, 01:00 PM) you can't really judge the quality of a programme based on the TER cut-offs....that depends on other factors like the number of places, and the number of applicants...... a better guide woul be data on the employability of graduates, ie, how many graduates still unemployed 3, 6 months after graduating, and feedback from the employers....... for engineers in general, under the current economic climate, the majority will be headhunter and offered employment BEFORE graduating.......... What about RMIT? I thought it's a good technology University as well, hmmm regarding to the Go8, i thought some of them are not that good in engineering, like UWA and so on, what I'm worried now is the living cost, as most of the university which is really famous in engineering like UNSW, NAtional U, Melbourne, Monash , Sydney are located in high living cost city
