Is uni of adelaide competitive compare to uniSA? Im just an average student planning to take a degree in accounting (bachelor of commerce) in Adelaide and currently taking dip in accounting..... is anyone here is taking accounting degree in either of this unis? care to gime sum pointers on which uni to choose... goin there in July Added on April 20, 2007, 10:29 amoh ya.i heard tat uni of queensland is theoritical based kind of uni....u noe...old skool kind? im wondering is it the same concept with uni of adelaide?? im an accounting student so i prefer practical kind of uni...easier to relate to working world..hehe... watever,
Uni Adelaide is much better than Uni SA. Standard is higher, its one of the G8 unis, better lecturers, world ranking is much higher compared to uni SA.
Just like UQ, Uni Adelaide is theory based as well. I don't know how about uni SA though.

Doesn't really matter IMO. It is sort of standardised. The only recommendations I know so far is, if you don't want a Go8 for a particular course, is Actuarial Science at Macquerie.
Otherwise, taking commerce at any of the Go8 is roughly just the same thing. My opinion, not withstanding the rankings, is that only ANU has a significant academic edge over the rest.

Did anyone get caught in the rush hour in Brisbane today? Damn Aussy vs NZ match. They nicked all the buses to send the people to the Suncorp stadium and cancelled and/or dealyed heaps of services! I was left waiting for 30 mins when 3 buses should have came!
