May I know what is the total amount that I can expect to pay for the accountancy programme? Coming from SPM. Any other miscellaneous fee? TQ

1. Can I take further mathematics as my third subject instead of forth subject in a level?

2. Is the examboard for A Level Computer Science in Taylor College is CIE? So no coursework involved in the final exam? If CIE, the exam consists of only written paper instead of on-screen test. So do we need to use computer in class for study? Does lecturer focus on teaching programming using computer because there is no on-screen test?

3. Are there any scholarship for January intakes?

Not a Taylor's College student, but I did took my A-Levels somewhere else.

1. Order of A-Level subjects isn't really important.
But further mathematics is never the 3rd subject.
You just need 2-3 workable subjects that you really want to study, so that you can progress into university undergraduate.

If you are looking for Sciences / Mathematics / Engineering related Programs:

These type of combinations should work:
Engineering - Physics and Mathematics
Sciences - Chemistry/Physics/Biology
Architecture - Mathematics
Computing - Mathematics

Personally if you want to score in your A-Levels well just take 3 subjects.
Further Mathematics isn't really necessary for Undergraduate Level Engineering if you are wondering.

2. Cambridge International Examination (CIE) / Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) is the current examination board for most Malaysian A-level Colleges.
This is normally harder compared to other examination boards, like EdExcel, and AQA International (coming this year).

3. This you need to check with them, btw, Taylor's are moving both their Seri Hartamas and Subang Jaya campus to Taylor's Lakeside University.

Hi all,

Can anyone share the fastest way to get from TBS at Bandar Tasik Selatan to Taylor University Lakeside Campus using public transportation?

There are a few options based on google search:

1. TBS to KL sentral via KTM, then from KL sentral to Setia Jaya station via KTM, then BRT to Taylor uni

2. TBS to Masjid Jamek via lrt, then Masjid Jamek to USJ 7 via lrt kelana jaya line, then BRT to Taylor uni

3. TBS to KL sentral via KTM, then KL sentral to Setia Jaya station via KTM, then BRT to Taylor uni

Highly appreciate if anyone can provide more information on such issue including if there is another way to Taylor uni or which of the 3 options is the fastest way there.

Also, roughly how much time is required to travel from TBS to Taylor Uni? (I know currently the KTM and LRT trains are operating at less capacity but appreciate if anyone can provide a rough estimation of the time required)

Thank you.

Buses (Shuttle & Public buses)

Taylor’s provides two shuttle routes - one to Subang Jaya (ending at SS15, near Maybank Subang Jaya) and another to Ridzuan Condominium. For the full schedule, please log on to Campus Central Portal or check the waiting area near the Surau at Block B, Level 1, Taylor’s Lakeside Campus.

RapidKL Bus no. 783. Students can board the bus from the bus stand in PJS 7, the neighbourhood area just outside Taylor’s Lakeside Campus but need to apply for the pedestrian-gate access card in order to do so.

Train

Students have the option of taking the KTM train from either the Setia Jaya or Subang Jaya stations or taking the LRT from the Subang Jaya station in SS15. All three locations are part of the Taylor’s shuttle bus route.

Taxi and Grab services are also available for students to utilise. The pick-up point for both modes of transport is near 7-11 at Syopz Commercial Block on campus.

Currently going to Taylor's University via Public Transport isn't "sane".
I've recommend you find a hostel near your campus.
