About the aircon...firstly, the design is for Euro countries...everything about the aircon...even the controllers.

Since it is computer controlled, no need to off it before you shutdown the engine....this is the killer point...when you do start the engine next morning...500ml of condensed water will come out in an instant. So there are lotsa water being trapped in the tubes.

Then, there is the default air circulation, which is "outside air in"....in Euro probably the cleaner than our Dusty climate, this will clogged the filters and sooner or later...dust will go to the cooling coils.

And as everyone knows, our Pugs with the Turbo is going at high temperature in the engine bay....even the manifold will be red hot after a sprint...the time the fan spills to cool down the engine (after it is off) is not enough....eating away the battery and killing all the sensors...sooner or later..the aircon sensor will also kong.

So all in all its gonna be 5K to repair....if the compressor kena...even worst..

But the coil does have 'not so cheapo' alternative...all together RM1.5K for non standard, not so cold aircon.

What to do? Select the air circulation to inside the car...instead of outside air in...and off the aircon just before you shut down the engine (which i always forget to do)

But he charge you RM99 for labour again. So that 500 buck major service is very cryptic. Sure or not that is the labour? I see a prominent workshop that specializes in Porsche and many supercar service also about 2-5K depending on what is changed. Can't believe that PUCUK is potong kapla to own.

until 4 tyre left 20% then straight change tyre ..235/45 R18 expensive oo 
this i dunno liao ..but they always ask u to top up service this n that (maybe is commission based)

So far my 208 got no major issues, got oxygen sensor fault once but SC replaced a new one for me because under warranty.

And it seems like most 208 will get the Oxygen sensor issue after 10k mileage or so..
Other than that, i am pretty satisfy with my 208

"Engine Fault - Repair Needed"

i saw this pop up in my car two weeks after getting it from the vendor. i was so dissapointed. i sent it to Nasim Ampang because i got the car from there and the guy there says they cannot do anything and i have to refer the car to glenmarie. they did a reset on the car's system and the pop up dissapear but i knew there was something wrong with my car because there was no pick up. essentially it was like driving a VTI. oh, i drive the turbo 6 speed btw.

we went to glenmarie and it took them 3 days to diagnose the problem because they have to 'ask' their helpdesk in france. we were furious. 3 days later, they called telling us that the car's turbo fan was clogged so they have to get a new one. from france. and it'll take them at least 1 month. they gave me my car back but i was so upset because the car felt so different. it was weak and lifeless.

a month and half went by and after numerous calls made to glenmarie, they finally told me that the spare part have arrived. and that took them 2 days to install. luckily it was still under warranty so i didn't have to pay anything. but they assured me that it won't happen again.

a month after that it happened again! the pop up appeared! i was livid! we sent the car straight to glenmarie it took them again 3 days to diagnose the problem. this time around it wasn't the fan but something else. and it only took them 2 days to fix the car.

today (2 months later), my husband drove the car to terengganu on a business trip. on his way back, he stopped at the petrol station to refill so he stopped the engine. after filling in the petrol, the pop up appeared again and the car would not start! my husband is still waiting for the tow truck.

what the hell is wrong with this car?

does the ppl at nasim glenmarie know how to do their jobs?

it's frustrating!
