QUOTE "Engine Fault - Repair Needed" i saw this pop up in my car two weeks after getting it from the vendor. i was so dissapointed. i sent it to Nasim Ampang because i got the car from there and the guy there says they cannot do anything and i have to refer the car to glenmarie. they did a reset on the car's system and the pop up dissapear but i knew there was something wrong with my car because there was no pick up. essentially it was like driving a VTI. oh, i drive the turbo 6 speed btw. we went to glenmarie and it took them 3 days to diagnose the problem because they have to 'ask' their helpdesk in france. we were furious. 3 days later, they called telling us that the car's turbo fan was clogged so they have to get a new one. from france. and it'll take them at least 1 month. they gave me my car back but i was so upset because the car felt so different. it was weak and lifeless. a month and half went by and after numerous calls made to glenmarie, they finally told me that the spare part have arrived. and that took them 2 days to install. luckily it was still under warranty so i didn't have to pay anything. but they assured me that it won't happen again. a month after that it happened again! the pop up appeared! i was livid! we sent the car straight to glenmarie it took them again 3 days to diagnose the problem. this time around it wasn't the fan but something else. and it only took them 2 days to fix the car. today (2 months later), my husband drove the car to terengganu on a business trip. on his way back, he stopped at the petrol station to refill so he stopped the engine. after filling in the petrol, the pop up appeared again and the car would not start! my husband is still waiting for the tow truck. what the hell is wrong with this car? does the ppl at nasim glenmarie know how to do their jobs? it's frustrating! fuyoh.. go outstation come back in tow truck.. |

QUOTE(mike86 @ Oct 10 2014, 02:13 PM) bro i feel you. and for me, i just wanted to get my car repair as fast as they can The car itself is great. Its the shoddy workmanship of the CKD units assembled by Naza and their horrendous after sales service that's the problem. It's like once they have your money, its game over for you. My car had the windscreen washers DOA, which I had to send in to get fixed. Most of the problems I encountered started within the first 6 months. Now my car is not even a year old and I've got a laundry list of issues that Naza is not even looking at.however, it still drag for 3mths+ which make me without car to work yeah, will probably avoid pug for now on. i still love pug's car, all but for the service/spare parts probably will get a MT car for daily routine while pug as weekend car This post has been edited by Newbie838: Oct 10 2014, 09:56 PM |

hhaha I think I was the one who reported the timing chain broken issue..
Now recall... After we secure a sales that one guy wanted to buy over the kitty (even we warned him), and right before we sent the car to puspakom for inspection report in the morning....the car "Engine fault" again~ and we had to tow the car to service center.. luckily we sold it ~ This post has been edited by frequency: Oct 31 2014, 10:08 PM |
