It's a crime? Yeah right, judging the way she poses, more like she wants the attention.

Apparently, those pictures are meant for her boyfriend where they have been on LDR for some time.

I still think one should never trust a cloud service to store your confidential data as you cannot guarantee it's confidentiality. And the way the cloud services work is also kinda dodgy because they might do backups that you never knew you have.

At the end, my dropbox is mostly empty except some work related stuff. All my confidential data is on my own local cloud or a detached USB.

She is an actor she probably does not know all these things can be hacked. Only PC geeks will know the full risks.  Gate is not locked but do u have a right to still come in and rob my stuff, invade my privacy? No

Then, she or her representative should know then. No data is completely safe on the internet. Any cloud service has a clause that they are not responsible for any data loss due to theft, hardware issues and so on, why should anyone put their 100% trust on it? The company doesnt even want to be responsible with any shit happening in the future so why should I trust them with my darkest secret? She has lawyers who should know about this kind of stuff, why didnt they advise her to begin with? If the darkest secret from NSA can be leaked out, why is she thinking that her nude pictures will be safe on someone else's cloud server that probably only use a cheap lock?

Part of it is her fault for putting 100% trust on cloud services and another part is the hackers who have nothing better to do.

Then, now, she is trying to sue Google for allowing the search engine to link to her leaked photos. Is she suggesting that Google should censor content now?

sounds legit..but that means we cannot put 100% trust on local cops also? they are suppose to help us and uphold the law but.... hmm..hmm.gif

Cops are humans to begin with so they might make mistakes or did not account for something to happen. I am not saying that we should not trust them but I dont think anyone should give 100% trust to anything. Whether it is iCloud, Facebook, your PS4 account or some security guard that is suppose to safe guard your property.

And the stupidest thing is, it is evident that iCloud security is shit, so why didnt she sue Apple too? Or her lawyers are afraid of Apple's lawyers so she decided to go for Google? For Apple being negligent on the user secret as their "secret" questions are pretty damn shit to begin with.

Things like your mum's maiden name, your high school name, your first pet and so on, those are so easily found on the internet especially when you are celebrity.

Nowadays, I really hate seeing Jennifer Lawrence on tech news because she literally blame everyone from Google, Apple, hackers(they are f***ing guilty and FBI should bust their arses), the internet who fapped at her pictures and everyone under the sun. Except her for putting 100% trust on a cloud service. To me, everyone's at fault at this shit.
