i just put my AS5 in my drawer. I'm using the same tube since about 2 years ago.... still got more and did not harden  dunno about CoolerMaster's thermal compound though...

Why would u wanted to put it on the fridge? Just leave it on the table or drawer like that, nothing will happen...

I left it in a drawer. Coolermaster did not tell me to put it anywhere specific. Moreover, I heard of some model of coolermaster thermal paste cannot be placed in freezing temperature.
