This is an interesting development and all, considering that speculators were expecting Apple to unveil the new iMac at the September 12th conference. Leaves me wondering what's going to pop up next. *please be Merom MBP*

a product update doesnt need a special event. it never happen in the pass and i doubt it will happen on 12 september. im expecting something new.

Perhaps the iPhone or touchscreen ipod ..................

and the imac, since US has made it on apple site, it means malaysian would get those machine sooner or later? becoz the US$999 model is very attractive

apple singapore site is somehow "slow" on lodaing and getting error... i cant check if it's into asia too ...

i know macpro low end using the 73gt but then it has 4 brain 2.0ghz xeon i doubt dat c2d is more power then dat...

24" iMac i doubt can cucuk near macpro lowend...especially in multitasking...imo of course

if you read carefully the imac 24inch using 7300gt ddr3 while the macpro is 7300gt ddr2
