Personally, I don't think it's a hot car.. It's main competitor? Now that's a hot car. biggrin.gif Maybe in Thailand, it's a hot car.. Cuz noticed that Thai specs is better specced and cheaper than ours. Guess what, all manufactured right here in bolehland and exported to them.. rclxms.gif #sarcasm.

Haha... agree with you. I told the SA the same thing. Honda outsold Mazda (in general) but their general attitude towards customers much better.

Of course, to be fair, Mazda drives better than Honda, Toyota and Nissan, based on my experience lah

Sure.. 100% no doubt that Mazdas drives better than Honda.. Same with build quality.. At least a step higher quality. Though despite current issue of overstretched SCs, yes Honda's sales strategy is superior. The CX-5 is a lovely car, just it can be so much better than what it is today. Mazda's sales strategy needs a rethink. Know thy market, going around screaming we are premium doesn't cut it. For Malaysians, if not the likes of MB, Benz, Porsche, etc.. Don't talk premium.. biggrin.gif

I can't comment about the price as I haven't been following current used car trends. Though checking the various online used car sales portals can give an idea. Also, much better to buy from a private seller with verifiable history of maintenance st SC. Regardless, try to get the best deal and if not to knowledgeable about feeling used cars. Get a trusty mechanic or SC to check for you. As for costs outside warranty, based on my research it's somewhat similar to its rival Japanese brands. No way near conti service price levels.

I use Ninja Shades, custom fit for the new CX5. Total 7pcs, including the rear and the side tiny triangle windows. Nicely fit, magnets hold the shades firmly. Good enuff to block sunlight and yet can see thru clearly at night so no need to take out the rear piece.

A bit pricey though I got it at rm220

There's one guy in Penang who just sent his car to Sensha Coating Penang.
He said the cost is Rm1k, with 5 years warranty.
But with Sensha Coating, the yearly maintenance is not free and will cost about Rm200 per visit

Can check his post in CX-5 FB group and ask for his feedback/review there.

Finally get the 1st 1k service done, 45 minutes kau tim but no time to have the car wash as i am in a rush

The service center guy recommend that the next service at 10k, to add the clean the engine thing, hmmmm... not interested in that as i already using full synthetic oil

As for fuel consumption, pretty happy with it, it is about 11km/liter, not bad for a 2.5l engines. So far no diff between 95 (as pumped by SA) and 97 fuel
