4G93 DOHC - RM7-8k complete i think

depends on what kind of mods u planning to do.... if u r on budget 4g13/15 has abundant parts and economical.... whereas 4g93 DOHC it will be a bit difficult to maintain because well it has twin cam.... cam will sure be expensive if u were to upgrade it and u have more valve spring and valve... if u wan power and dont mind spending money go for 4g63t if u wan power to be on ur side... if N/A i dun see why not....

since it is not legal for proton cars except perdana, less market therefore cheaper price 5-6k

IMO, TS current engine is what?
if wira 1.5 carb then just upgrade to MMC injection.. from there there's a lot of performance part for it
if wira 1.5 injection SIEMENS then its kinda troublesome, try to change to MMC injection
if wira 1.6/1.8 single cam injection, its a lot better.. just modified the current engine where there still a lot of performance parts
if wira 1.8 DOHC its the best engine either to upgrade turbo engine and sell of the engine to get better performance or just upgrade the engine.. but extra torque require a lot of modification which the cost could be sky rocket, either words its high maintenance..

i did try to mod wira 1.6 single cam.. its quite good too, just minor mod like piggyback, better outflow n inflow, racing clutch, racing disc n racing brake pad, higher compression ratio etc.. i can get 0-100km/h in 8s flat..
its not major mod eg block cutting and balancing, racing cam, racing valve, racing valve spring, stand alone ECU etc.. even the head also almost completely stock..

so imagine for those turbo engine.. huhu

budget play = 93sohc
or else gsr/mivec T if u have the money

JPJ changed the rule for Proton... i.e there is a special rule for Proton now.

4G63 cannot lulus JPJ for Wira.. if you mod then kena JPJ road block then sorry for you....

The main issue here, your wira.. 1.3L or 1.5L... 1.3L max <1.5L (1.6L little hard now), 1.5 max <1.8L (2.0L even harder now)...

4g93 dohc NA lagi cun....stock standard quite power & torque compared to sohc..

4g93 DOHC cun d....

4g15 carb also can be fast, buy a DCOE weber (damn i love weber), get tuned length exhaust manifold, mild camshaft, stiffer valve spring, adjustable, proper tires, something at least PS3.
