Hello there, heard that there are a few new developments near Genting Highlands. Couldn't find much info online. Anyone can share details on the upcoming projects such as launching dates, price and size etc?

Yea, saw this one on the star a few days back. Anyone got details?

D'elemen not my cup of tea. Prefer somewhere more quiet and green like cable car area.

There is a new development near Gotong Jaya to be launched next month. This project is developed by a major publicly listed developer, and will consist of 3 blocks of resort homes and 1 block of luxury hotel.

It is the first of a series of major developments to be taken place in Gotong Jaya and Genting. Among them are a new Premium Outlets in Gotong Jaya, a Fox Studio Movie Theme Park in Genting etc.

If you want to know more, please whatsapp or call me for more information. Since the project hasn't officially launched yet, I cannot share the detail here publicly, but I can share with you privately.

You can reach me at 012-252-5520.

For a personal sanctuary to de-stress, unwind and relax from stressful city life, I would say RM 380K is very reasonable. It is also where you escape, albeit temporary, the worsening haze and polluted city air. So you're not only buying the holiday/vacation home, you're buying an enviable life-style, healthier lungs, calmer mind, and happier spouse. smile.gif

The location is quite near actually. Travelling up to Gohtong Jaya takes less than an hour from KL. Many of us take that long to drive to work everyday.

If you don't plan to stay there permanently, you can rent the unit out on a daily basis to tourists.

From the investment standpoint, the prospect is bullish on Genting Highland and Gohtong Jaya. This is part of what is going on there:

- This is the first of a series of residential and hotel developments in Gohtong Jaya. We expect the prices to increase for the subsequent phases/ projects.

- Genting Group is investing RM 5 billions to revamp and upgrade Genting Highland. Its goal is to make Genting Highland one of the top, if not the top tourist attraction not only in Malaysia, but the entire South East Asia. With Genting's vast financial capacity, the goal is very attainable.

- Genting Highland is undergoing renovation/redevelopment of its Theme park. The new theme park is a product of partnership between Genting Group and 20th Century Fox. The all-new 20th Century Fox World Theme Park, which cost RM1 billion to build, will features 30 exciting rides and attractions based on Fox franchises like Alien, Ice Age, Rio and all other successful and well known films done internationally.

- A new 10,000 seating capacity arena will be built to attract more concerts and shows to Genting.

- Genting Premium Outlet in Gohtong Jaya will provide the first Premium Outlet shopping experience in Klang Valley. This will become an instant attraction for tourists and locals.

All in all, there are a lot of excitement surrounding Genting, and as you can see, its future prospect is indeed very positive.

Ya, agents always act secretive to attract buyers and will ask us to meet face to face to have more interaction...

Windmill Upon Hills at Genting Highlands will be open for preview in May along with a show unit ready for viewing.

In the meantime, the KL sales gallery is open now for walk-ins at No.2A, Jalan Galloway, 50150 Kuala Lumpur. smile.gif

Genting Simon Sdn Bhd will officially announce Genting Premium Outlets (GPO), the second Premium Outlet Centre in Malaysia and South East Asia which is part of the RM5 billion Genting Integrated Tourism Plan. Along the way another GENTING project named SkyAvenue mall (total 165 units retail lots, NLA 390,000sq.ft) was already officially launched in last year December.

The gross built-up of GPO will be approximately 480,895 sq.ft and will have 120 outlets with a total of NLA area 260,895 sq.ft.

Genting visitors are recorded 20 million in year 2013/2014 and expected to rise up to 26 million in 2018 and subsequently 30 million in year 2020.

MRI expects strong visitation catalyst in Genting when both GPO and first phase of 20th Century Fox theme park are to be opened in early 2016.
