While browsing Xbox.com, I found out about the Free with GOLD. Battlefield Bad Company 2.

So via xbox.com I confirmed and later the consoled succesfully.

But, when I tried to play it, it wouldn't play

It was not even in My Games.

Why? Please enlighten me.

FYI, I am on a US account.

same thing happen to me i found that my download stop at exactly 80 and appear corrupted on my hard drive a.. until i found that happen because of region authorization. The solution for these i found out is that u need ur vpn to download it but unfortunately i dont know how to use that

i know right? beginning to hate this Game With Gold with its retarded region lock.. had to purchase halo reach since i cant download it... yes you need the vpn to download and let me know if it work

Yeah man. It sucks. Do Xbox One has this kind of problems? If they do, it will lower my interest of getting it.

Nah, probably I'll pass. I have no idea how to connect the xbox via VPN haha. If there is a link where I can learn how to do it, I'll try it.

I played Battlefield BC2 on PC last time and loved it. Still have them installed lol just in case. Just wanna try it on xbox and play with my bro.

It's not their fault. Free games offered to regions. You're not in the correct region (or appear to be in one) so it's normal the game is locked. Even if you're on SG account, you need to be in that region (or use SG VPN) to download it. However, there's no such problem on Xbox One. US account, UK console, living in Malaysia. I got all the free games for it.
